Official Charts Report

Rising Dutch dance duo ANOTR are gearing up to challenge for this week’s Number 1 single with Talk To You ft. 54 Ultra.

Following a viral video of England defender John Stones dancing to the track, Talk To You’s ascension up the Official Singles Chart has accelerated - and now it’s in contention for the top spot at Number 2 on the Official Chart: First Look.

However, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean are still currently ahead at Number 1, eyeing up an 18th week at the summit with Rein Me In.

Setting course for another new peak and its first Top 5 placing, Summer smash Free Your Mind by Prospa and Cloonee is up four places at Number 3.

Also set to claim a new peak is Hugel, Imael Angel and Ultra Nate’s Movin’ To The Sun lifts four places on the First Look (12).

K-Pop superstars BTS are on the way to claiming this week’s highest new entry with Normal (13). If the seven-piece keep up their current momentum it will mark their 13th Top 40 single and eighth Top 20 song in the UK.

Finally, Boston by Stella Lefty is up one place after 48 hours at Number 17.

Seen that it’s been #1 in Ireland for 11 weeks too but far off any records there.

Love seeing chart history

Even when Last Christmas eventually gets the record, they probably won’t acknowledge the fact. I don’t get why people are happy for Rein Me In to get the record and I doubt it would’ve spent this long at number 1 during a physical era. At least with Bryan Adams and Wet Wet Wet, people went out and BOUGHT it rather than press play and repeat

Spam my arse. Songs DO go number 1 because of people pressing play and repeat. I’ve also heard that physicals are slowly starting to increase. People are finally seeing sense
