I think team fender may have left it a little late but always good to have a chart battle and im happy with either outcome

Feels weird seeing Sam Fender of all artists doing all this grovelling for chart numbers but the label obviously sees this as too big of a moment to let it slip away! Wonder what the phone call with management was like before the last second campaigning 😂 bought the instrumental while it's cheap, hoping local legend Sam breaks the record.

Would also add Diana Ross. Diana (1980) was the biggest album of her career, and then from a UK perspective she got her biggest hit 6 years later with Chain Reaction after a few flop eras. I do think this proves it is harder for artists to maintain a repeak though, which makes Kylie’s the most impressive imo, the 00s was her strongest decade by far.
