She’s carried pop music on her back recently

This took me a few more days than the rest of you to properly properly click with me but it’s hit me today.

I think it’s probably her best quality release, Dance aside, but there are still a few on the original album ahead of it that’s stopping me from joining the “this is the best song she’s ever made” train but we love a good singalong banger that feels equal parts euphoric and heartbreaking and she’s done a great job of delivering that tried and tested formula mastered by so many artists but putting her unique Slayyyyter spin on it and I think this track is the moment where I’ve most gone “yeah, I definitely know what a Slayyyter song is now, what her exact perspective is, what her brand is” etc. She’s perfected it with this.

WOO! I thought, based off just one day in the Spotify Top 200, she probably would get another top 100 debut with this but top 75 is even better!

There's a hit for her around the corner, I think, but even if not, the level of success and recognition she's getting right now feels like an achievement in and of itself.

Yeah - very good! Eventhough it is not my favourite of her - I hope that she will reach Top 40 with it.

Dance remains song of the year material, it’s a crime that it didn’t smash. But I’ll be happy enough if this does instead

That's a really impressive hold from its midweek position!

She had such a tiny playlist reach last week, very little Tik Tok vitality and no airplay. The fact she managed to get such streams is a great sign for when a bit more support kicks in. It seems to just be so catchy people have it on repeat.

By FAR the most instant song from her for me. What an absolutely glorious and beautiful song!

I’ve always had her on the backburner a bit. Nothing has “wowed” me but I’ve liked a few tracks here and there. This is absolutely more my kind of thing and more like it but without completely losing what makes her more unique and special as an artist.

I'm in the same camp, nothing has quite grabbed me... This though, this is absolutely brilliant!

I think this might be my favourite Slayyyter song to date the vocals are just brilliant

#97 (-25) in the mids

Must still be bubbling around not too far away from the top 200 then to still be around, which is promising.

Debuts at #98 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Slayyyter's first entry on there.
