Enjoyed South Arcade's performing at Reading last year and this was a lovely one from them, thank you for sending it!

Sad to lose Juranabaijan, Pestolia, Aelandor, Persephonia, Ennea at least from the other semi, Ben's Sanctuary was 11th for me and Ajanaeda with Metric was 13th (good album if not their best) too.

Gutted that Ennea @nine¾ didn't qualify. I'm not the biggest fan of BUCK-TICK, but I've listened to and loved their anime songs (including this one) when I was participating in a 1000+ anime song rating project, so this one's a good refresher.

Sad to be on my 4th DNQ in a row, and quite unsure on how to approach future contests. I’ve enjoyed all my entries but they just don’t seem to be connecting in the right way… I’ll try again next month 🤣

That was an unexpected qualifying for the final for East Rukahavian but thanks, after a tough couple of weeks just the tonic I needed.

Ah no biggie I obviously wasn't expecting to qualify but glad it found a few fans.

Of course I really wasn't anticipating such a dramatic overreaction but tbh the overall discourse mostly amused me if anything. You can all rest assured my next entry won't be quite as long in duration. Also FTR I discovered the song whilst looking for entries for the most recent Bop Idol so it's all Julian's fault this song even entered my awareness :P and I probably would never have submitted it if the contest was anywhere else but Skall or Eledan so all the stars simply aligned and it was just too tempting to do it :D

On the plus side all my votes made it through yay as this semi was sorely lacking in quality.

This is a bit of ad disappointment as I was quite confident after the Q prediictions and the poitive reception at the listenthrough. Maybe I don't understand the Alt-Bloc sufficiently. Now it is time for the rave classic in September.

I think it was just a surprising amount of lush alternative tracks competing with a similar vibe and not enough points for all of them

Oh Numayania didn’t deserve that, that was so charming - I’d have given it a few for sure, felt kind of Trifoski meets Greenfroze for me in a good way.

On the other hand, 19 points for sure is a lot for a song that surely was created with the prompt ‘motivational Afrohouse music for ‘live love laugh’ Facebook posts’. I’m sure you would get something close if you fed that into Suno anyway.
