Natalie plays Banquet Records on Wednesday and has another show + signing at Resident on Thursday. Both sold out. Are those copies already included in today's numbers? How does this work?

I can think of some that sampled video game songs, like Hotline Bling by Drake and Freak Like Me by the Sugababes. And Ayo Technology by 50 Cent which has an instrumental that sounds like a GameBoy song lol.

The 'Clair Obscur - Expedition 33' soundtrack by Lorien Testard reached #16 on the album chart in February this year.

I hope Natalie can hold on to a Top 10 position. The album is instantly likeable and has done great songs.

Shame Miley is down to #21. She's on par with "End of the World" now (was also #21 in Monday update). Hoping we may see the song climb a decent amount tomorrow and re-enter the Spotify chart.

as for albums, iirc a handful of video game soundtracks have made component or genre album charts but not the main top 100 - toby fox's various DELTARUNE Chapter soundtracks have charted on Soundtrack Albums this decade, for example.

I think The Sonic The Hedgehog theme also made the lower end of the top 40

good shout - Sonic The Hedgehog was indeed credited as a featured artist on Supersonic by HWA which peaked at #33 in 1992 - wonder what was in the water that year that meant so many novelty video game-related tracks made the charts

Hopefully she does some price reductions to encourage some casual sales as the CD is £18.

I quite like the new Miley song, it’s a shame nothing has really stuck for her after Flowers. River, Jaded, Easy Lover and Walk Of Fame all deserved to be big hits.

I hope Sienna can close the gap on Ella

Bizarre release strategy so far, not helped by the nil promo and cancellation of most of the album launch shows.

The deluxe seemed to replace the original on iTunes chart, but it reached a new peak of #2 on Uk iTunes. Not sure how many sales that actually is but hoping this can bump the album up from #10

It means that when she does her Wednesday and Thursday signings, those sales will be counted as each person at the event is handed the product? So they haven't been pre-emptively included already.

Did Ellie’s sales from her intimate gigs with cds count in this update? Cause those shows ticket bundles should be adding for more than 2k sales..

Not sure thats 100% correct - we see so many artists with multiple signings add very little throughout the week.

For example when I go to HMV Oxford Street for signings I give my online order number and am handed the product - no scanning involved

She cancelled the majority of the shows plus you could buy tickets to the event without buying a CD or vinyl.

Not really, there was like a few hundred tickets without cds. Still the three shows she did added to over 3k people. Even if some people didn’t buy tickets, the 2.5k figure means either no one had previously purchased the album or anything. Hoping Wednesday update the sales increase

Only the deluxe CD is at that price point, the standard is cheaper.
