Spotify has updated and 'Stop The Wedding!' has now cracked the top 10, up to #9!

That Babydoll song is horrendous. Commercial pop music has fallen completely flat for me this year. The more interesting stuff is the stuff that's not breaking through into the charts.

I don’t think it’s horrendous as such, but I can quite literally hear people in the writing session saying “we need to create something that sounds like Man I Need” and it feels so BLATANT in how derivative it is. On top of that, everything I’ve seen of him promoting it on socials is really corny and cringe - nothing about it feels organic.

It's highly unlikely it was Ed Sheeran's decision imo. Probably his management or the organisers or the venues who banned Macklemore, so I'm not sure how much of the blame he deserves, if any.

Apparently it's the venues who basically gave Ed an ultimatum - either he drops Macklemore or he doesn't play there!
