I wouldn’t count it as one of their regular albums anyway tbf, it’s more of a side project.

Also breaking tradition of being a one-worded title!

  • The Taylor thing is really ridiculous. She may as well just have sent out 10k physicals a week for four weeks and have a nice extra extended con, I mean, run at the top.

  • If she shipped all the physicals in the same week and actually shipped them the week they were advertised to be shipping on I definitely wouldn't be as frustrated.

  • Taylor ratf***ing across multiple weeks would tend to do that yes xx

The first Pet Shop Boys album to potentially miss the UK Top 10 is disappointing, falling short of the standards I’ve come to expect from them. I also wish they were more open to constructive criticism rather than blocking people on Instagram.

It’s not new music though, it’s a release of some songs they produced for an Alan Turing Prom over a decade ago.

It’s comparable only to something like The Most Beautiful Thing which missed the top 50.

I actually did buy it as it’s very moving throughout.

I wouldn't worry as its not a brand new studio album and little has been done to push it that I'm aware of so its doing well

01 Jamie T - Ghosts (100 Days of Morning) (11,531) (NE)

Last Monday Rubber Soul was on 19,348 sales. Looks like The Beatles choose the wrong date to release their album.

But obviously it is very difficult months in advance to predict a "good" release date.

don't worry, she's still got plenty of time to push some digital remixes as well to get some downloads for another few weeks 🙃

Also her being like 10k fans can have their cds this week and everyone else can wait another week. For absolutely no other reason than vanity.

You realise 10k shipped on Thursday and then the rest shipped Friday literally 1 day difference...

How convenient...

Perhaps the only way to end this nonsense is to exclude CDs and cassettes from the singles chart altogether.

I agree, certainly those available only through the artists website. After all, they appeal only to the fanbase as collectors items, serving only to artificially boost the artists chart position.

Hopefully means that this is all of Taylor's physicals and the number one is open to others next week!

As long as it's not Sienna Spiro returning to the top until Christmas.

The Taylor situation seems to be of zero concern to the OCC, record labels, media or industry panel as there is no noise coming from any of them regarding shipping across multiple weeks or a need for change so it seems like it’s only a Buzzjack problem.
