Posted Yesterday at 17:001 day It's time for Live Shows! It's been a whirlwind of a journey across Europe so far and now we find ourselves in Budapest, Hungary. The stage is set at the MVM Dome and the final fifteen artists are ready to fight for the crown, win The Pop Factor: Season 3, accompany Shawn Mendes to his final destination in Europe, and win the grand prize of the €30 Amazon Gift Card! How it works:Once you've listened to all of the artists perform in Live Show One, you should post your votes in this thread, ranking the performances from favourite to least favourite. Please post a list that states clearly which is your favourite down to least favourite, or use the below format:01 (favourite)020304-12131415 (least favourite)For those voting that are competing in the Live Show, you must vote. Failure to vote by a competing artist will result in a 30 point deduction from your final score. As always, even if you're not competing in The Pop Factor you are more than welcome to vote too - whether you've been an observer from the beginning or your artist has already been eliminated. And, you guessed, that's not all...When voting closes, we'll cross over to the results show where TWO artists will be eliminated from the competition. The first - the artist with the least points - will be eliminated from the competition immediately. The remaining bottom two artists with the least points will then come face to face with our four judges: Jimmy-Jam Watts, Joanne, Veronica Viper and Chris Justkiddin'. They will decide the artist that remains in the competition. Voting closes on Wednesday 4 November 2026, 17:59 GMTLive Show One, here we go...IT'S TIMETO FACETHE MUSIC!010203040506070809101112131415Standard list of entries:Adele - Oh My GodBananarama - Cruel SummerSophie Ellis-Bextor - Get Over YouTom Grennan - Royal HighnessDepeche Mode - People Are PeopleDarin - ElectricKate Bush - BabooshkaSam Smith - Like I CanTexas - HaloSam Fender - Getting StartedZara Larsson - All the TimeFontaines D.C. - StarbursterGary Numan - IntruderMARINA - How to Be a HeartbreakerNew Order - Ceremony

Yesterday at 17:111 day I take it Jim was the person Julian guessed incorrectly then if he's showing up as a judge here.(not there being 4 judges for this round again though - deadlock realness still on the cards not sure who 'Joanne' is supposed to be though oops)Hooray for us still getting a song from Gary Numan's 'Intruder' era in the end!
Yesterday at 17:131 day Wow, big round to start off here.Cruel Summer, Starbuster, Babooshka, Get Over You, Halo, How to Be a Heartbreaker...all big hitters for those acts.

23 hours ago23 hr I didn't really comment on the Depeche Mode selections so far as it might have given away the fact that they were not me. I was surprised that none of their first four songs were from 1983-1997 when I think they were at their peak but they turned out to be good picks that were well received. I hope People Are People will be good enough to get them through another round. There are still two of their most popular songs to come. The New Order person has done a good job so far but I think Ceremony is a big risk. If I wasn't going for one of their big three songs that are still left at this stage, I would have picked something a bit dancier. Babooska is the song I would have expected from Kate Bush, it should see her through comfortably.
23 hours ago23 hr Great picks from Adele, Bananarama, Sam Smith and MARINA at first glance. I would've thought Cruel Summer would be final worthy though tbh. Kate's song I know by name but can't recall how it goes if I've heard it before. I haven't heard that Sophie choice in forever - can't say it's one of my faves from her but will judge with fresh ears so who knows. I think everything else will be a discovery.

I guess its a good strategy to only play a banger when needed (the Gamu) and hold back until the end. But yeah I'm unsure on 'People Are People' on a first listen. Need to give everything a proper listen though and see how I feel.
23 hours ago23 hr Anyway... I did consider entering this, indeed a couple of the groups who are still in were among those I considered, but I didn't commit in time. I was close to sending a male artist when that was the last spot standing, but then realised all those I was considering were from outside Europe. So I've been a voter only so far, but I'm happy to keep continuity with an otherwise all-new judging panel (I presume Joanne is Jo' - edit: actually no they aren't, but I'll keep shtum who they actually are...) - hopefully we can be more decisive this series!

"deadlock", we had enough of that last season.
