October 20, 200916 yr Daughtry not top 40 My fault i misread Daughtry was in the list and thought they were top 40. at me. Edited October 20, 200916 yr by RobSummers
October 20, 200916 yr Do we have the sales for the top 10 albums for yday, just so can see what the differance in sales is. Seen the top 5 but whats figures for rest of top 10 is it close???
October 20, 200916 yr I think the predictions for Cheryl's sales come Sunday are mostly quite pessimistic actually. Alexandra sold 89.4K in the first two days and 187.1K in the whole week. If Cheryl has exactly the same degree of front-load her total will be 134.2 * 187.1/89.4 = 280.9K. And if anything I would expect her to be slightly less front-loaded than Alexandra, so I'm predicting 290K.
October 20, 200916 yr  OMG @ Cheryl's sales. Jesus Christ that's high! Let's hope she can keep it up, the song is brilliant
October 20, 200916 yr Cheryl was the new Queen of England until Sunday, now she's God. She's gonna stop the music crisis on her own.
October 20, 200916 yr No she will be more front loaded because of the GA fan base I reckon X Factor would have a larger effect tbh.
October 20, 200916 yr I still think Leona's gonna beat (or at least match) Cheryl's opening sales. Yes it's not as good as 'Bleeding Love' or 'Run'. But it's the sorta song that the X-Factor public love to hear from Leona and with more people watching X-Factor than ever before and with sales at the highest they've been for a while, I can see 'Happy' doing very well. As well as SuBo's 'Wild Horses' when her album is released
October 20, 200916 yr I'm not so sure that Happy has quite the same level of hype around it as Bleeding Love and Run did, but I agree that it may well sell more, due to the high sales at the moment, than Run at least...I predict 150k first week will be odd Cheryl going back to Girls Aloud now won't it seeing as her solo single has/looks set to have eclipsed everything they've done saleswise :o
October 20, 200916 yr So please cheryl has out done what so many people thought! those sales are just crazy, she has sold as much as an x factor winner would with their debut solo single! Its just huge! I love the song! WOW 130K++ I was hoping for 90k today!
October 20, 200916 yr the different being Alex can actually sing! And dance, and have stage presence!
October 20, 200916 yr I wonder if Cheryl's sales will be to downloads; as Whigfield breaking the 200k mark with CD's heralded the singles boom of the mid to late 90's.
October 20, 200916 yr And dance, and have stage presence! Cheryl's dancing puts Alexandra's to shame. Edited October 20, 200916 yr by MrLovett
October 20, 200916 yr How much did Leona sell of bleeding love in the first week? I thought it was about 230k??
