Who makes the decision to officially change the title, just so it comes up in a search when people search for Matt Cardle's song? The record company? iTunes themselves?

December 19, 201015 yr but we haven't a clue what matt will come up with. he may very well want to take more of a controling force in his music. he plays guitar and i think writes songs so he may want to include this in the music he releases in the future. That's true - he has already released two albums with two different bands actually - I have the Seven Summers album and it's very mature Radio 2 friendly indie with Manics and Keane overtones.
December 19, 201015 yr :rofl: in that case, it will probably be number one! :rofl: would be interesting to see actually, if it did happen and did go to number 1 and would show just how much power the x factor has that when someone else does it it gets to 21 and then if x factor does it and it sounds exactly the same (as its silence) gets to number 1. if only Cowell was daring enough to try it, sadly he isnt which is why the winners song is always very generic and commercial and often a song that is already quite well known, he needs to gaurentee to make a massive profit on it so he can afford that 84th yacht.

December 19, 201015 yr I quite agree! You haven't been annoyed at all Chris - you are making an effort to have a discussion, as are the majority of others with alternate opinions. This makes this site worth it for me! Its not really off topic - its does relate to music and a track on the chart. When I say that people are getting angry, I mean some of the posters with 'lesser' reputations on BJ. I like discussing, but some people just get a bit over-excited. -_-

Not that I would ever defend the evil Cowell, I am hoping that we have a less bland cover from the XF winner this year may be due to the impact RATM had last year?
