What an embarrasing chart run, not that I expected any better ... although I actually think Nero's will be worse!

It's not that great when a track is already at 31 just four weeks after first charting at no.1.

TEOG is hanging around really well! How many more singles will be released from BTW?

I'm sure You and I will make the top 40! :lol: It's a bit early to be worrying already, and it is very close. It's about #50 on iTunes, and has another version in the top 200. Could even get in next week!

So you wouldn't think a chart run of 1-51-out with total sales of about 50,000 (which most top 20 hits can easily top these dayss) would be 'embarrassing'?

But on this website people talk about a song that spends 5 weeks in the top 40 and peaks at #35 as if it's a massive success, but a song that spends 7 weeks in the top 40 and peaks at #1 as if it's a failure. Can never understand this mentality.

Not too bad a fall for the second week, considering I was expecting it to do similarly to Paramore earlier in the year when it first appeared.

Just a few appalling #1 chart runs in the 2010s.

I quite like this song, and I'm not normally that keen on Florence.

I prefered Floridnces older stuff

You've Got The love is my least fav of all florence singles and it sucks how it's the highest peaking! All the other single deserve the Top 10 :angry:

Certainly not. Bizzare certainly, but surely the aim with "Swagger Jagger" was to ride the hype to Number One, and I'm sure the record label sees it as a job well done. Let's face it, she was never going to be one for much chart longevity.

I agree with that! A #1 should manage at least 10 top 40 weeks.
