September 8, 201114 yr WOW at Joe overtaking Will!! I hope Joe can maintain at least Top 5 again this week but wow! Edited September 8, 201114 yr by jonmove
September 8, 201114 yr Expect a No.3 on Sunday for the Saturdays, kids. I'd say yesterdays figures were correct while Tuesdays unfortunately had errors, as we're now seeing Pixie at 60.8, Saturdays at 47.4 and M5 at 45.8 Are You sure? What's the source. I doubt The Saturdays are only 1,600 ahead of Maroon 5.
September 8, 201114 yr Are You sure? What's the source. I doubt The Saturdays are only 1,600 ahead of Maroon 5. It's the same source he got Tuesday's sales from, except the information wasn't quite correct on Tuesday. I thought it was weird that the Saturdays would be 12k clear of Maroon 5 when they were never that far ahead on itunes and have been behind for a while now.
September 8, 201114 yr Thanks TBoy, yea it's an official 'midweek flash' my friend recieves. As for Joe holding on, he is perhaps surprisingly a comfortable 700 copies ahead of both Will and RHCP now... and Adele isn't as far behind Example as she was at the start of the week either, though still well over 5k off.

I thought it was weird that the Saturdays would be 12k clear of Maroon 5 when they were never that far ahead on itunes and have been behind for a while now. I think the fact that they had physicals out, multiple versions in the Top 1000 on itunes made it believable
September 8, 201114 yr I expect the final chart to be 1 Pixie 2 Maroon 5 3 Saturdays 4 Example 5 Leona
September 8, 201114 yr I expect the final chart to be 1 Pixie 2 Maroon 5 3 Saturdays 4 Example 5 Leona Example have dropped to 6 on itunes, so I think Leona will be 4th and Example 5th but agree with all your other predictions. Maroon 5 is likely to continue selling well over next few weeks but probably not get to no1.
September 8, 201114 yr I think The Sats are still in with a chance at no.2 if they can get some promotion on radio and TV. It will be a very tight call.
September 8, 201114 yr According to Music Week PJ Harvey's "Let England Shake" has sold 3,335 copies so far this week (sales to yesterday) Edited September 8, 201114 yr by Robbie
September 8, 201114 yr I think The Sats are still in with a chance at no.2 if they can get some promotion on radio and TV. It will be a very tight call. not a chance. They'll end up 5,000 + behind maroon 5
September 8, 201114 yr So Sats are on 47k even though they were on 37k on Tuesday without physicals added? I highly doubt they've sold less than 5k a day for the last two days if they shifted 37k over two days to begin with... even if they were frontloaded. Oh well, we'll see come Sunday.
September 8, 201114 yr Example have dropped to 6 on itunes, so I think Leona will be 4th and Example 5th but agree with all your other predictions. Maroon 5 is likely to continue selling well over next few weeks but probably not get to no1. Example has a second version in the top 40.
September 8, 201114 yr hopefully with her remix in the top 130 (?) (havent seen full updates today), plus the EP, plus the lead through the first half of the week, Leona may still hold onto 4... but i can see it being quite tight for positions 4, 5 and 6 by the weekend! :-S
September 8, 201114 yr Melanie C album is great! much better that Lady gagas album which is still at 18! <_<
