September 18, 201114 yr Apparently it outperformed by the market (by 5% or something) and at the time that made it disqualified. Gezza explained it to me  So if Westlife outperform the market, they get a number 1. But if Damien Rice does it... (Yes, I know it's more complicated than that)
September 18, 201114 yr TMO isn't top 40, they just played it instead of LBG for no reason  #33 is Delilah. What a mess. Edited September 18, 201114 yr by Bré
September 18, 201114 yr Author Bloody Reg - playing something outside the top 40 instead of something that is?!
September 18, 201114 yr I have no idea why it disappeared for a week. It was to do with a chart ruling, Suedehead, about singles and percentage increases week on week - sorry this is so vague - it was really complicated (for me, at any rate!!). Have searched google for a fuller explanation - can't find it!
September 18, 201114 yr Author So if Westlife outperform the market, they get a number 1. But if Damien Rice does it... (Yes, I know it's more complicated than that) It is, I don't pretend to understand the odd rules that the OCC used to have.
September 18, 201114 yr I thought Reggie said Little Bad Girl too and you have put it up as #34 but now he is playing Turn Me On? Or was LBG at #34 and he skipped it ? Reggie said LBG is just outside the top 40, I'm assuming its #41
September 18, 201114 yr This Delilah track 'Go' is so stunning and haunting - Though it's surprising how fast it climbed to the top 40 with an OA/OS release. :D
September 18, 201114 yr Ooh, this is VERY good on first listen, certainly far better than 'Time' :o Very different to the rest of the chart (although the chart is far more diverse now than it has been earlier this year anyway)
September 18, 201114 yr Bloody Reg - playing something outside the top 40 instead of something that is?! At least it's not as bad as the time when Gravity by Pixie Lott was top 40. Instead of playing her, he played Gravity by Embrace. I still think the listeners of Radio 1 got the better end of the bargain. Is this song a cover of Ain't Nobody? It sounds like it.
September 18, 201114 yr Reggie said LBG is just outside the top 40, I'm assuming its #41 It's TMO that's outside the top 40. Summary: #33 is Delilah, #34 is LBG, TMO is not top 40.
September 18, 201114 yr Reggie said LBG is just outside the top 40, I'm assuming its #41 Not LBG but Turn Me On. Shame actually it dropped out as it's a lot better than Little Bad Girl
September 18, 201114 yr Reggie said LBG is just outside the top 40, I'm assuming its #41 No he said TMO was just outside the top 40. LBG was at #34. I love 'Go' to bits.
