I understand you feel the show is aimed at too young an audience and that Reggie Yates is a poor presenter. We’re naturally very sorry when we hear that members of our audience do not like our programmes or services. We try very hard to produce a wide range of high quality programmes and services which we hope will appeal to our audiences. The BBC is a publicly-funded broadcaster serving the whole of the United Kingdom providing programming to a hugely diverse audience with differing tastes and preferences. There will always be some programmes that do not appeal to some people and this is the nature of broadcasting whereby we are serving many different people with many different expectations. The range of tastes and opinions held by our audience is so diverse that it's inevitable some listeners will dislike or disapprove of certain presenters. It's a very rare radio personality who meets with everyone's approval, and it's clear that opinions on individual presenters can vary considerably. October 23, 201114 yr 'Natural Disaster' is one of the dance tracks of the year - words cannot describe how irritated I am that it's peak is likely to be #37. Saying that, I didn't think it'd even make the T40 - so it's another T40 for Example and the first (?) for Laidback Luke, I believe. Definitely spoke too soon about Adele - it actually climbed 2 places since Wednesday - that's crazy!
