Theres no need for rudeness and arrogance in your reply....my opinion is simply yes Lego House entered the top 75 before it but i would rather the discography follow single releases for future reference, not that my opinion reallly matters anyway but i have a right to give it! :arrr:

Well I think your comment looked arrogant too. But anyway Lego House entered the top 75 after Drunk, you wrote it incorrectly.

On another note the chart history is not a singles list, it is a list of charted songs from the posted artist in a chronological order of first apperance of the song. Polyhex does the same, and it is our source. ;)

I think Reggie has forgotten all about the album chart, he needs to get a few practice runs and finish counting Nos 40-11 before 6:05pm.

Anyhow on a different subject when you get a minute Bre can you do your usual thing, thanks very much.

That's not the point I was making. It would be the year in which it achieves its peak. Therefore Love On Top would be listed as 2012 as would Drunk!

true, but they are technically 2011 songs

Lana #1 album and the single top 10 :D I think I may need to listen to this album

I did understand, but as I said in my previous post it is a list of charted songs and not a singles list ;)

That remix of Video Games sounded werid! :o

It looks like Titanium has really helped David Guetta's album sales.

I love the drum sounds in Born To Die.

So Michael Jackson Man In The Mirror would be listed as 2009? I don't think so :P

great to see born to die in the top 10.
Thrilled Lana is having such success. I hope that she can do a Rizzle Kicks, and have her first two pre-album singles getting the same position in the low top 10 and then the post-album single can be the biggest hit - I would love to see Summertime Sadness, National Anthem or even Blue Jeans become a hit for her as well.
Really pleased with Lana's success this week! The album is spectacular and you can really tell when someone's worked hard on a record. Also glad Born To Die has matched Video Games' chart peak.

Also, don't forget this way would be confusing as some songs can climb and peak YEARS later - like MJ's Man In The Mirror peaking at #2 in 2009 after its first peak in 1988, Adele's MYFML peaking nearly 3 years after first peak.......

So Michael Jackson Man In The Mirror would be listed as 2009? I don't think so :P

Yes, that would be perfectly reasonable!

Anyway...didnt realise they did a 40-11 countdown at this stage now...i like it! :D

dont worry steve, i see your point, but due to how things land in the chart, thats the way it is, suppose the same way 78s and 45 just landed into the charts.

as for opinions, i said before that i hate glee, because they cant sing for toffee, yet i see every single week people saying they hate this and bored with this and that, and they dont get shot down in flames.

Without You seems to be Lana's most popular album track (probably charted top 200 officially this week). So maybe they'll go with that for the next single, unless there's another reason it's sold so much.
Over 117,000 for Lana then if Reggie's correct... much better than I had hoped for at the beginning of the week. Great album so most deserved.

No, that would be very confusing.

As Ben says, the chart history is a list of the charting peaks of the songs recorded in the top 75, not a list of singles :D
