April 29, 201214 yr Numb/Encore only got to #14 :o What a travesty! Basically what I thought when I found out. I thought it would've got #1. Linkin Park were so popular when I was in senior school.
April 29, 201214 yr Oh I've become SUCH a fan of Burn It Down recently! The flow is just so divine! Shame it couldn't be a bigger hit but good to see it get a second week.

The Followill brothers Caleb, Jared, and Nathan (along with their cousin Matthew) play a straight-ahead, hard-driving brand of rock & roll that owes more to Crazy Horse and the Rolling Stones than it does to Molly Hatchet. Their debut album, 2003's YOUTH & YOUNG MANHOOD showed them to be an earthier equivalent to garage-rock contemporaries like the White Stripes and the Strokes. - HMV Video here: gnhXHvRoUd0 Chart history (Year peak title): 2003 53 Holy Roller Novocaine EP 2003 22 What I Saw EP 2003 23 Molly's Chambers 2003 51 Wasted Time 2004 61 California Waiting 2004 16 The Bucket 2005 24 Four Kicks 2005 41 King Of The Rodeo 2007 18 On Call 2007 13 Fans 2008 01 Sex On Fire 2008 02 Use Somebody 2009 29 Revelry 2010 07 Radioactive 2010 69 Pyro
April 29, 201214 yr Use Somebody  Brilliant to see this back in the top 40 again. Feck, I forgot to type up the chart run to this.
April 29, 201214 yr For some reason I thought it was Sex on Fire that was gonna re-enter. Nice surprise that it's US instead.
April 29, 201214 yr Always far preferred this to Sex On Fire, what a great song. Is it anywhere near a million yet?
April 29, 201214 yr That is quite a chart run :o Great to see this back, a modern classic along with Sex On Fire Edited April 29, 201214 yr by C.W
April 29, 201214 yr Use Somebody remains the best thing I've heard from Kings Of Leon, so much better than Sex On Fire (which I don't particularly like), lovely to see it back in the top 40, such a good feel with it.
April 29, 201214 yr Basically what I thought when I found out. I thought it would've got #1. Linkin Park were so popular when I was in senior school. It made #1 in Ireland strangely enough. It's so odd to think that in the days of a song entering at #14 and usually plummeting out of the top 10 a couple of weeks later it outsold most of the #1s.
April 29, 201214 yr Remember when the UK chart had plent of new music every week instead of oldies and overplayed re-entries? Edited April 29, 201214 yr by N-S
April 29, 201214 yr I much prefer Sex on Fire but this is great too, nice to hear it again. On an unrelated note, Adam shouldn't have won that battle :(
April 29, 201214 yr Linkin Park's chart history baffles me. They're so overlooked in the UK! There is this other chart known as the 'album' chart you know :P Where of course a band like that do much better.
April 29, 201214 yr "Use Somebody" sounds great now I haven't heard it in a while, wish it had been "On Call" that did so well though.

April 29, 201214 yr There is this other chart known as the 'album' chart you know :P Where of course a band like that do much better. Agreed. But even so, LP deserved a far better single charts profile.
April 29, 201214 yr What a weird start to the chart. I don't know what year we're in anymore! :drama:
