TBH I thought Thrift Shop will be an easy million-seller, but it hasn't sold 700k yet and almost out of the top 40 :-/

Guess it got overshadowed by Get Lucky, etc :/ It's surprising, I was sure that'd be the million seller of this year.

I wish the contestants from series 1 had the same treatment as series 2 contestants. I would have loved to have more studio recordings of Bo Bruce, Leanne Mitchell and Tyler James!

I do think Leah will probably go the furthest out of this years contestants but I think Andrea will be an album seller.

definitely. i do wonder what will happen with this years finalists.

Tyler James got 3 top 40 singles and a top 50 album, and Bo Bruce got a top 10 album, with Leanne Mitchell getting nothing beyond the winning performance.

'Crazy Kids' sounds great on the radio  , shame it's been so difficult for her to get support this era. This track is so catchy and deserves to be much higher! It will probably climb again on iTunes once The Voice material drops. I wish 'C'mon' could have been a top 40 hit too though. :(

'Warrior' is such a good album.

First listen - this isn't great but a ton better than 'Die Young' at least. will.i.am's part is by far the best part.

Happy that Ke$ha manages another Top 40 hit but I'm still astounded that this charted and 'C'Mon' didn't. I love her new album but IMOP 'Crazy Kids' is probably the worst track on it

Maybe it's just charted because Will.i.am is on it?

Exactly lol!

C'mon was much better.

Every part of Crazy Kids is utter shit, minus the chorus (will.i.am doesn't make it any better, either).

Maybe but at the release week it flopped didn't even reach the top 200 on iTunes.

It got 59p this week plus it was performed somewhere?

Didn't it sell like 100,000+ first week, smashing McClutchen at #2?

I can't remember but its sales must have dropped quickly afterwards to not make the top 40 of the year. Granted they were never going to match the 700k+ sales of their late 90s hits, but sales hadn't dropped THAT much overall in 2000. 18 singles went gold by selling over 400k (including one of Melanie C's solo singles!). I think Holler must have sold about 200k overall.

I don't think it can be solely down to will.i.am because the version with him was released weeks ago and did nothing. It's discounted though. This has done really well with such little airplay tbh, it's only getting notable TV airplay I think.

Is this still 59p then?

Mraz? Yes :(

Sold 212,000 by the end of 2000.

Glad at "Feel The Love" returning to the top 40! Also happy that Ke$ha got another top 40 hit and that Jason Mraz is still in the top 40 too.
