July 23, 201313 yr 1. Please, One Direction over Avicii in Sunday. 2. "Cinderella" result is very sad. 3. Who still buy compilations albums today ? 1. Please no, everyone except you and Joseph wants it the other way around. 2. Sad, but not unexpected (or actually sad IMO) 3. Now compilations are doing better and better. Oh and I buy them too.
July 23, 201313 yr Now 85 looking to be a massive seller, no surprise there. :D I was surprised to find out yesterday that our head of sales downloaded Now 85 on his iPhone just to have some new music to listen to whilst driving to work. I never had him down as a big music fan although some of the salespeople are currently obsessed with 'La La La', one of the lads constantly plays it on his phone.
July 23, 201313 yr 3. Who still buy compilations albums today ? Maybe because 'NOW 85' has 21 songs from the iTunes Top 30 (8 from the Top 10) And with 44 tracks, it works out at just under 30p a song
July 23, 201313 yr Let's start a campaign for Me & My's Baby Boy to chart and then we need only one song to overtake it. :P (I don't know if Baby Boy is available in the UK at all) Me & My   Don't know about UK, but all Me & My discography [include even their greatest hits album] is availaible on I-Tunes Russia.
July 23, 201313 yr So, could Avicii potentially sell 200k this week again? I doubt 1D does less than 100k and he's currently outselling them 2x1  Also, it looks likely if we look at the lead over John & Robin. Edited July 23, 201313 yr by Katy V.!
July 23, 201313 yr Avicii's sales will be interesting this week but as much as I'd love to see 2nd week sales over 200k I think it will be more likely to be 180/190k but I'd love to be wrong and see it getting closer to that one million end of year total would be a relief!! Sales 1D could only dream of ha ha ha!!!!!! Million seller I don't think so
July 23, 201313 yr Good chart week I'd say. Avicii still looking to continue it's rightful reign at #1 while former #1s are all getting decent Now boosts. Unsure who'll be #1 in the album charts. Selena Gomez on the first update perhaps? Robin Thicke and Jay-Z must still be looking to sell 10-15k this week, so it's just a matter of whether or not Gomez can sell that. Her two '& the Scene' albums must've debuted in the T10 with at least 10k+ each surely?
July 23, 201313 yr There were three Selena Gomez & The Scene albums and none of them made the top 10 (#12, #14 and #15 respectively).
July 23, 201313 yr https://twitter.com/Scouting4Girls SFG Addicts @SFGAddicts_ 6h Millionaire now sitting at number 45! #SFGMillionaireForNumberOne @Scouting4Girls pic.twitter.com/7CmCaK0WLw :(
July 23, 201313 yr Author I love the top 15 on iTunes at the moment there are 5 former #1's. I think Avcii will just come short of 200k if you take away the pre-orders from last week as someone mentioned previously.
July 23, 201313 yr Now 85 is going to have 4 million sellers on it. And is likely to be a million seller itself. A million seller within a million seller. #inception
July 23, 201313 yr 1. Please, One Direction over Avicii in Sunday. 2. "Cinderella" result is very sad. 3. Who still buy compilations albums today ? #Wrong to all of these! Avicii writes/ produces/ makes all his own songs, and for that reason alone he deserves the no.1 over a group who do not.
July 24, 201313 yr Maybe because 'NOW 85' has 21 songs from the iTunes Top 30 (8 from the Top 10) And with 44 tracks, it works out at just under 30p a song  A little off-topic so apologies but... What would happen if you bought 20 songs individually from NOW 85? Would it let you buy more than 13 tracks? Then if you completed your album, would it give you money back? I'm not gonna try it but just now-curious.
July 24, 201313 yr When is that Miley Cyrus song out? That's supposedly tipped to be a big UK hit? 5th August but it's got no chance of #1 as Annie's The A&R EP is out then! Oh and Tinie's new one which is borderline amazing/shit.
July 24, 201313 yr Avicii writes/ produces/ makes all his own songs, and for that reason alone he deserves the no.1 over a group who do not. I disagree. I've not heard One Direction's song yet, but I'd simply support the song I liked the most.
