I really like my entire top 5 (and this is with my two faves prior to the lives being eliminated :lol: let's weep for Simon and Jennifer) :wub: Anton is good more for comedy value lol, those facial expressions :') Reggie n Bollie are fun, Max is good but I feel we've not seen much of him yet. Seann and Che are both technically good but they lack star quality right now and I'm struggling to actually back them. Bupsi is a funny one lol but she's quite fun. Mason is talented but so unlikeable which is offputting.

01 Keira Weathers (she seems like the most 'winnery' contestant to me. I don't think she will because the public are stupid, but she's easily one of the most ready made popstars they've had in YEARS)

02 4th Impact (You just cannot argue with their enthusiasm, vox and general likability)

03 Seann Miley Moore (could be amazing if he just learned the right balance between spectacle and vocals. The real test will be when he needs to change it up and sing something different)

04 Louisa Johnson (she has the vox, but needs serious work)

07 Che Chesterman (I don't get the hype at all, he has a bland voice and doesn't have the look at all)

11 Alien Uncovered (not my bag AT ALL. I don't like their brand of hyper confident (see: arrogant) girl band

12 Anton Stephens (smug, faux humble, terrifying facial expressions and eyes. About as likeable as bubonic plague)

 

It really isn't a banner year, at least not the acts that have made the final 12. I could probably have had about 8/9 acts to root for if the judges hadn't been such fools. Basically below the line it's all a mass of bland or shit or whatever and I don't care for any of them at all.

01 Louisa (her voice is just mindblowing, so effortlessly blows everyone else's away to be honest)

02 Kiera (she's instantly the best popstar I agree, with a bit of the right guidance I feel like she could be really incredible)

03 Che (his falsetto gives me goosebumps, amazing! He doesn't really have the look but oh well)

04 4th Impact (they're undeniably hugely talented and crafted, but I think their OTT/high energy performances might grate a bit after about week 4 or so?)

05 Seann (brilliant voice and a unique look, but I hope he doesn't go in the direction I fear... I can see him being the equivalent to the older diva who just sings ballads except for the obligatory performance of Relight My Fire or a Donna Summer song in disco week)

06 Lauren (lovely girl, great voice, but not much else; nothing unique)

07 Alien Uncovered (not feeling these as much as I probably should, normally they'd be right up my street! They are pretty good though and I thin they have potential, I just can't see them being there long enough to fulfill it)

08 Bupsi (she's not terrible, but I feel like she's one of those who comes across as being better than she actually is, just because of the way she over performs while singing... In any other year I doubt she'd have even had a look in at being in the lives, it's a joke though she's there and Jennifer/Ebru aren't)

09 Mason (actually not a bad voice but him getting through is so contrived just so he can squabble with Simon live on air)

10 Max (I get nothing from him, again feels quite contrived he was brought back and is now in the lives too)

11 Anton (insanely irritating, quite bland and really just not that great vocally. He's the sort of Voice contestant who'd maybe get to week 2 because the rest of the team is so weak, no idea how he's set to do so well here but I can still see it happening...)

12 Reggie & Bollie (f***ing terrible. They're just fulfilling the novelty act quota, I guess there wasn't much choice for the groups though....)

1. Louisa Johnson (incredible vocals, tone for days. the kind of voice I love love love)

2. Lauren Murray (again, another incredible vocalist, and I find myself routing for her because of her personality)

3. Seann Miley Moore (seeing as all the female popstars play the eccentric game, why can't we have an out there male popstar? so likeable and a very good vocal on him)

4. Che Chesterman (wasn't initially keen but his voice is undeniable, the soul gets me everytime)

5. 4th Impact (despite putting them at only 5, I do actually love these girls. only thing that puts me off is they get a little shouty from time to time)

6. Keira Weathers (would have been higher but she kind of disappointed me with tonight's audition. I think she could be a ready made popstar though - oh how x factor of me)

7. Alien Uncovered (was not keen up till now, thought style over substance but the vocals/song choice/performance at judges houses won me over. not completely convinced they'll be consistent though)

8. Max Stone (has a very good voice and I do love his tone but there is something about him that bores me as a performer. could grow on me more though as he can sing v well)

9. Anton Stephens (undeniably he can sing but he actually scares me - seems a bit unhinged. also I know what im gonna get everytime)

10. Bupsi (should not have got through above Jennifer. she seems like a likeable lady but an average vocal and a bit of rauncy dancing ain't gonna cut it)

11. Mason Noise (doesn't deserve his place, only here for the controversy. its not even as if he has a good voice to make up for him being a c**t, he's actually one of the worst vocalists left)

12. Reggie n Bollie (they can do their cover of antenna in week 1 and then leave the building, never to return again, thanks)

 

You all better vote for Louisa if we want her to win. :)

1. Lauren (up to this point it had been Ché but following the JH performance she's now my fave, perfect!)

2. Ché (outstanding voice, hope they give him the right songs to showcase it)

3. Mason (have no idea what'll he be like at the Lives which makes it more interesting, solid performer too)

4. Max (as long as he doesn't go down the full 'typical guitar guy' route I'm excited to see how he'll do at Lives)

5. Reggie n Bollie (yep, they're only lasting a week but it's gonna be a hilarious watch!)

6. Seann (he'll be great the first few weeks but then it'll get boring, looking forward to some Rhydian-like performances though)

7. 4th Impact (yeah ok they are growing on me each week, tone down on the oversinging (like at JH) and they'll be great)

8. Louisa (I do like her voice but can't buy into her fully yet, just see a good singer yet not a performer but it could come)

9. Alien (JH was their best yet, not fully sold on them yet but at least they'll be fun(ish) to watch)

10. Keira (find her a bit plain and just a weaker version of Louisa, other than her first audition I haven't really enjoyed anything from her)

11. Anton (good voice but just not my kind of act at all)

12. Bupsi (boring, second out of the door after the two guys most likely)

I hope at the absolute minimum, they can do a Only The Young, but I would ideally want a Fleur East / Little Mix and to be the surprise this year :wub:.

 

I wouldn't mind them being arrogant (and it very much IS, in my opinion) if they were amazing. They aren't though, they are middling AT BEST. Little Mix and Fleur are perfect examples of being confident, strong females without it tipping into arrogance.

Louisa is clearly my favourite. By a long way away. I understand that she may be "over hyped" or whatever on here, but it's all backed up imo. Keira is stunning also. I think she'll be under looked a lot of the time, despite putting on stellar performances. 4th Impact are seriously good too. Very professional and well rehearsed. I can see why their voices might grate sooner rather than later though. Seann Miley Moore is such a bizarre character, in the sense that his voice is insane. He looks like a star & has the right personality for a popstar, I just don't know where he'd fit in the industry, coz he can't sell theatrical-type songs to a mass audience. We'll see...

 

Mason Noise irritates me because he's such a knob but he's very, VERY talented and I can definitely see him selling. It frustrating that he did what he did, coz I have no doubts that he'd have been a favourite to win if he'd kept his mouth shut. Che Chesterman great voice, just has very little stage presence and I think he's starting to become a bit of a one trick pony. But I can see the hype. Same with Lauren Murray tbh. Brilliant voice, but a bit "seen it all before" from her. Alien Uncovered are good, they just need a bit of polishing up. Still a bit too much to take in at once, but there's potential without a doubt, it just seems a bit too try hard atm. I just can't see how they'd work if it didn't work for Neon Jungle though... but we'll see.

 

Max Stone is a very nice guy, just a bit of a non-entity and doesn't seem to be showing too much personality. He's got a good voice, but the market he's aiming for seems to be quite saturated at the moment and I don't think he'll stick out at all, but I like him. Reggie N' Bollie. Please shoot me. I actually quite like them! Ugh. Bupsi is an odd one. She actually has an OK voice, but she's such a novelty act, I don't see where she'd sell records and don't see her as a real threat to anyone. Anton Stephens has a great, powerful, theatrical voice. But that's it. His personality is annoying and I really can't see him selling records. He'd be suited perfectly to the west end though!

I can see my list changing a lot as the live shows go on tbh but there's no one I really despise like previous years. The talent is very strong this year it's just a shame the live shows are so short this year as I feel like there could have been a few wildcards from people who got eliminated who desreved a shot.
