December 23, 201510 yr The bookies really think it's all over offering 10/1 for Bieber now and 1/12 for NHS now!
December 23, 201510 yr Here's a secret for you. The bookies all copy their odds off Betfair. All of them, all the time.
December 23, 201510 yr even if he's going back to #1, it would have been better on his CV to have claimed the Xmas #1
December 23, 201510 yr Very true, I'm sure once he hands his CV of "#2 for Christmas Week" over to his desired producers for his next album, they'll reject him. Poor thing.
December 23, 201510 yr even if he's going back to #1, it would have been better on his CV to have claimed the Xmas #1 You talk like he'll be down the job centre next week
December 23, 201510 yr one thing that I'm surprised is how biased and partial the occ has been towards the choir song, promoting it from day 1, even last week they had a piece about it, when nobody was even talking about it as candidate for the Xmas #1... and all week they've been exaggerating the gap, and now they even have the piece about Bieber saying it's ok to buy the choir song... they should be more neutral/unbiased
December 23, 201510 yr Very true, I'm sure once he hands his CV of "#2 for Christmas Week" over to his desired producers for his next album, they'll reject him. Poor thing. And '#2 behind a song about the British Healthcare Services' makes it sound even more less flattering
December 23, 201510 yr  Having a Christmas #1 means nothing for the careers of acts so I'm sure Bieber won't be worried - Ask Ben Haenow, Matt Cardle, Mr Blobby etc,
December 23, 201510 yr NOOOOOOOOOO not Justin encouraging the opposition :banghead: it's over. the one chance we've had in ages to have a normal Xmas #1 and he just throws it away like that. that's 20 pounds of my money gone and me being humiliated by my family :drama:

They've not supported any side. The Justin song has been out for weeks, people know it exists. The NHS Choir is a campaign directly related to this week, the OCC have naturally posted articles on it because it's appearing in the chart. It's relevant, they post entertainment news all the time, that's not promoting. And I don't know what you mean about exaggerating the gap
December 23, 201510 yr I've just put a £10 bet that Justin Bieber's poor CV will fail to get him a job at Lidl's in 2023.
December 23, 201510 yr Just ridiculous, I place a bet and a f***ing choir come and ruin it. Easy money they said. Sky Bet paid out early, I always managed to get mugged off.
December 23, 201510 yr Could still go to justin bieber though.. considering he will get an immense number of streams tonight and tomorrow, with it being christmas..
December 23, 201510 yr Well thankfully I wasn't stupid enough to bet an amount I'm unable to absorb! x Fucking Bieber screwing me over with that tweet though. I don't know why I ever started tolerating the guy -_-
December 23, 201510 yr You talk like he'll be down the job centre next week  I can vision the next Channel 5 programme: Justin Bieber - Music, Life & Benefits
December 23, 201510 yr Interesting to see that some people predicted the NHS song to miss the top 40 altogether in the predicta
December 23, 201510 yr even if he's going back to #1, it would have been better on his CV to have claimed the Xmas #1 This genuinely made me chuckle, thanks  Edited December 23, 201510 yr by Cheznuts
December 23, 201510 yr Although the songs in question aren't very "exciting" (although I adore the JB track), it's all made for an exciting chart battle though! Looking forward to seeing who does get the number 1!
