Radio 1 this morning played a 'Holiday Version' of KATSEYE - Touch (which is literally just the normal song plus some sleigh bells lmao)

I heard Kid Francescoli and Julia Minkin's Moon (And It Went Like) on a minibus on the way back from a guided tour to the Atlas mountains on Sunday.

I was in a bar being run by a lovely lesbian on Monday so I got to hear Muna and Sarah Kinsley back to back, which was a bit of a *.* moment after last year.

But I also heard Don’t Sweat It by Daisy Grenade and Gold Star Baby by The Aces - two fab entries to hear our in the wild ❤️

Heard Twigs' How's That in the lobby of a 4* hotel on Saturday? Was playing very quietly through the speakers but still felt a bit eccentric for that setting and at 5am.

Was just working in there, wish I could afford to stay in a 4* hotel x

I'm at an event in Barcelona and T AMARÉ is playing here. Going to assume they are Benidorm Fest and not New Lexico stans, but still.

They have also been playing Bebe Rexha's New Religion on loop.

This is not in any way an “unexpected place” because it was literally my birthday party but the DJ put on ILLIT’s It’s Me on during the evening, purely because “it sounds like something you’d love”.

Little did he know I run an entire country and I do indeed know and love it and it absolutely SLAPS booming over a speaker x

I heard the remix of Reba’s Fancy that came second for Dan a few years ago in a pub earlier.

And there's me curiously thinking... "What Zanmatony entry has dandy been hearing on his public strolling recently..."

But yes, seeing Elëdan in the final, any final in fact, with some of their choices used to feel unexpected but now it's the new normal. @pavi has a following that the rest of us can only dream of having.
