Honestly the reason why people are latching onto this is because it is welcome break from all the 'real drama' happening in the world, plus everyone loves a bit of juicy gossip that's just human nature. Still find it a bit weird how Kim was snapchatting that conversation and had it saved but whatever!

I don't really like this argument. Like it could be applied to ANY AND EVERYTHING. Why are you posting on Buzzjack when people are dieing!!1 I don't mean to make it flippant but the two aren't related imo. I do agree that there are more important things to worry about yes but it doesn't mean less important and more trivial things won't ever happen and people won't care about them!

Yeah I kinda do see that side of the argument as well which is why I still think it's kinda ridiculous that this argument was blown up to the grandiose scale that it's in currently. Plus I don't wanna give more attention to anything the Kardashians are doing so yeah.

From what I've heard from some respected music industry insiders she sounds like a pretty vindictive, mean and calculating person so none of these revelations surprise me at all really. I thought Neil Tennant described her best as 'the Mrs Thatcher of pop music' - she only cares about the money (and fame) at the end of the day.

Taylor needs to stop being a twat really and should've just left things secret like the TIWYCF co-write and shouldn't have been so militant about Famous' lyrics when she was lying all along. Sometimes you just say nothing or if you lie like this it comes back to bite you in the ass. Having said that it is a bit odd that Kim recorded this in the first place and had it there ready and waiting to use when she wanted a bit of attention :lol: As for Kanye he needs as little of that as possible.

 

I am fed up of the media always being at her though, like yea this time it's probably justified but I think it's ridiculous when people come for her and accuse every relationship she has of being a media ploy as if she's the only celebrity to date other celebrities. Same goes for Kim most of the time, she can never do anything right and imo she hasn't really done anything THAT bad and it's hardly her fault that people react to her the way they do and give her the attention to make her famous. She likes the attention, but so do a hell of a lot of famous people.

 

I don't actually really care that much though :lol: I still love Taylor's music which is the main thing for me and it is a rather petty saga.

I don't know why people are saying Kim is in the wrong for recording the call. She obviously suspected something like this would happen and what do you know it DOES so good on her for being so media savvy and getting evidence ready before the inevitable backtrack from Taylor.

Yeah, it was just clever on her part. If I were in her position I doubt I'd have thought to record the call, but her having the foresight to do so should be commended rather than condemned. She obviously didn't trust Taylor.

Luckily I can separate the person form the music, enough. '1989' is still (almost) flawless and a couple of other singles here and there are jams too, but I'm just happy now that there's basically PROOF of Taylor being the person I've always thought she was. I've hated this whole "squad" thing the most though.. It's a shame that someone so talented is so vindictive and calculating. :(

^ I feel the same. Her music is great, great pop music and (if she actually does write them) then she's a brilliant pop writer.

 

But there is no denying that she is the 'Mean Girl' and always has been. Sometimes you just get a sense about people and she got me from day 1.

It's nice to see her being dragged. I know that's horrible because "she's a human" but she didn't care when she was the one doing it to Katy.

She made millions out of saying Katy was mean to her.. when it's almost certain Katy just didn't want to join her clique and she screamed like a brat and vowed revenge!

 

I mean, if you read some of the stuff about Taylor-Nation, it's actually scary how her team have controlled all of this amazing press about her for so long.

But when you see that they were deleting fan's videos because they hadn't paid royalties, how they were taking pictures down because Taylor wouldn't make money..

And I read an article featuring a reporter that sort-of infiltrated the Taylor Clique for a while, but when she was kinda negative about something they froze her out of parties and basically blacklisted her.. She's ruthless.

 

And so this really couldn't be happening to a nicer popstar.. She's a dreadful person.

I love how we call our pop stars, like Britney Spears, names for having a mental breakdown after being built up just to be torn down by our society. Yet, we have adults calling Swift a role model. Want to see a good hearted person that has been repeatedly kicked when down by others, yet never responds to the hate? Go look at Britney.

 

But, everyone loves Taylor for dating and publicly bashing several of her exes with her music. And I don't want to hear the artistic expression excuse, your personal business with another person is not the publics business. Kanye West is a sack of moldy shit, but, at least we know that about him. If anything he did her a favor by being a dumb ass on the VMA's. That was the event that took her from teen star to a household name. But, props to her for keeping that act together for so long. I bring up Britney Spears only because she is a southern girl turned icon that even at the edge of death has stayed humble and kind. It seems to me Taylor has tried to emulate her 'girl next door/ not so innocent / lovable', personality. Except Taylor is doing it for sales, not because she is. Think of all the feuds Britney could have addressed to make her gain more publicity. Justin, Christina, Jessica Simpson, Fred Durst... But, has she ever even addressed those things? No! Taylor may be more vocally talented but she isn't even close to the kind hearted person Britney is. She is just marketed to corner that same market Britney no longer has a monopoly on. Because icons with good hearts usually don't exist. Just my two cents.
