May 9, 20205 yr Another kind of odd challenge, ngl I probably laughed more at Heidi than the rest although it wasn't good :lol: She's just got that kind of personality you die at no matter what she does, so it is sometimes hard to stand back and go "actually that was bad"! I was also dying not at Sh*rry's actual show but the editing of "6 minutes" "13 minutes" as a way of only showing fleeting bits of her :rofl: Surely they could have stopped her at 5 and just counted whatever she had there though?! Very unfair on Jaida tbh. I loved Jackie's, Crystal I think she deserved to win more in both the makeover and debate challenges than now but I'm just so glad she got one! I think she needed it too to get that last confidence boost. Jaida did really flounder (tbf she was probs thrown off by Sh*rry taking 3 hours), but the runway was stunning and that lipsync!! She's definitely the one to beat at this point, Gigi of late is a whole different person to the Gigi who won the Ball, Snatch Game and Rusical. One minute she can do anything, the next she's just totally in her head and overthinking way too much. It's just not entertaining or enjoyable to watch when something is so calculated, it could have been a show stealing concept but nothing really happened with her show.
May 9, 20205 yr It's SO satisfying to see Crystal win!!! She was HYSTERICAL. Such an amazing episode. I laughed SO much. Heidi will be missed. The "hepiphany" stuff. You can't make it up! :lol:
May 9, 20205 yr This was one of the least bad live comedy challenges they've had, no one was really a cringe to watch unlike past seasons Also amazing runway, Crystal, Jaida, Gigi and Heidi all looked 10/10, glad Heidi really get her redemption especially in aesthetics Sidenote though - did anyone else think Jackie wasn't that funny? I get that she followed the guidelines unlike Sherry and was more confident than Gigi, but I thought both of them definitely outperformed her
May 9, 20205 yr Crystal won :wub: And deservedly so! Her and Jaida must be the two strongest competitors currently which you couldn't have predicted after the first couple of shows! Again another runway outfit that was stunning as well as hilarious and actually kinda fashion as well as campy. Brilliant show obviously - goes to show the difference in a person when they have some confidence in what they are doing! Totally unique and sold it so well! Heidi was the right one to go this week, I think she was the weakest both this week and last week so it would've been a bit of a joke for her to survive again. She will be missed though and certainly one of the most lovable characters the show has had! Gigi was actually the most cringe of the show due to those awkward moments and the nerves showed through, she pulled it off okay but knowing how well someone like Bianca could've done that concept it was a shame. She still has a lot of room to grow which is why I'm not sure she should a winner of the show in comparison to someone like Aquaria. Her Daphne look was probably my least favourite of the lot, the judges also like to see 'costumey' as a negative and this was certainly costumey but no comment was made. Not sure what has happened as she certainly was a genuine strong contender earlier this season. Guess all the challenge wins they've had so far are things you can rehearse and prepare for beforehand. In regards to Sherry and Jaida. Michelle hit the nail right on the head with it being self-indugent and certainly would have been a factor in throwing off Jaida. Certainly not fair on her. I suppose we didn't see the show to know funny it could've been but you would know if you've been on the stage for that long! More than 3 times the given length is no accident. Glad Jaida got to redeem herself in the lipsync and wasn't one of those freak moments where she could've been sent home.

May 9, 20205 yr CRYYYSTALLLL! She did That. So happy to see her get a win, long overdue! Pretty much everyone but her & Jackie were a bit shit tho no? Gigi was very lucky Sherry and Jaida limboed under her & Heidi messed up because her piece was Not Good. Also this whole episode...I got the impression she was trying to come across smart & sarky but she just came off as bitchy and somewhat whiny. & also at this point its really hard to tell if she actually is struggling in an episode bc she *always* fakes that she is before delivering a good performance. Was pretty clear Heidi was going here bc of how much Jaida was our narrator this episode. I'd love Crystal to win the whole thing but Jaida's looking the clear frontrunner now & I'd be happy to see her take it; she's smart, funny,charming and hardworking, AND she can turn it out dancing too :D Only other comment is that Sherry being spared bottom is some bullshit. Once again like the Michelle runway, someone should NOT be rewarded for not following the rules of the task. ESPECIALLY when they're a seasoned host. I don't for a minute buy her "oops I didn't realise" routine. Otherwise I'm looking forward to the memes of everything she said this episode about being such a good actor etc.
May 9, 20205 yr YES CRYSTAL. So glad she finally won one. Sad at Heidi leaving though 😭 admit she wasn’t great in the challenge but her personality is just my absolute favourite. She’ll be really missed. Ru actually seemed sad to see her go too which doesn’t often happen?
May 9, 20205 yr Yeah I agree Sherry probably should have been bottom 2, I think being that unprofessional and selfish should have been penalised more than Heidi being a bit rushed or Jaida not having a good story. I guess it's easy to say when we didn't see the whole show, how funny it was, but I think going over the show limit by 3x the amount was a bit of an unfair advantage when as I said you could see others struggling with fitting everything in. And that's part of the challenge, being concise and presenting yourself in that small time frame, which say Jackie and Crystal but that was something Heidi struggled with, as she tried to put too much into 5 minutes. Had Heidi just gone "f*** it let's take 17 minutes", she probably would have been good too :lol: I think Sherry must have been consistently absolutely hilarious for the judges to overlook what she did, which obviously we didn't see. It's hard to be objective knowing what she did, with her being edited out, and usually I just gloss over her but I think this is a point to be made this episode because it made the bottom 2 kind of unfair for me. I mean with what we saw, yes Jaida and Heidi were the bottom 2 in terms of content, but I have to wonder, if Sherry got capped at 5 minutes as she should have, would she have been bottom 2 with an incomplete show that didn't go where she planned it to?
May 9, 20205 yr So happy for Crystal - thoroughly deserved win. She was amazing in the challenge and her runway was hilariously amazing! Jaida's runway look was incredible too. :heart: Glad Michelle just said it like it was re. Sherry, although how she escaped the bottom two when she clearly had no idea how to condense it all into a five minute show... :drama:
May 9, 20205 yr I always thought they weren't allowed to go over a certain time limit but apparently they are.. It seems weird as there should always be a tight schedule for the filming just like everywhere else. Going 10+ minutes over your time is unacceptable but I could see they enjoyed the routine overall.
May 9, 20205 yr I'm just quite surprised they didn't stop Sherry just after the 5 minute mark to be honest. If the challenge was to make a 30 second commercial or something I'm sure they wouldn't have let her just go ahead and make a 3 minute one. If it meant her show didn't make sense then that's her problem because she didn't fulfil the challenge

May 9, 20205 yr Crystal winning was such a brilliant moment. She was once again excellent, and I LOVE how she's being herself the entire way through. I really want her to win :wub: Love both Heidi and Jaida so I was sad to see them in the bottom 2 but not at all surprised after the challenge, they were comfortably the weakest. Gonna miss Heidi's commentary though :(

It's quite rare to even get a run of 5 highs/wins, I've just looked: Yvie (6 from her Good God Girl Get Out win, ended by being bottom 2 for Snatch Game) Brooke (5 from Diva Worship, ended by being bottom 2 for Snatch Game) Katya (5 from RuPaulywood Stories then was eliminated on the Kitty Ball) Jinkx (8!! from Draggle Rock, ended by being bottom 2 for the Glitter Ball) She's had the biggest bounce back ever I'd say, I'd love if she could snatch the win but I'd be elated for Jaida and think she might now.

You mean Candy Ball Liam, glitter ball was S6 :P Hmm I can see why it was selfish but for me it was just down piss poor time management but this hasn't exactly shown burnt pie in the best light even without the problematic ways before the show. I'm so glad for crystal though she killed that challenge and went all in. No one truly went as hard as she did. I loved Crystal's, Jaida and Gigi's runway *.* I love crystal and gigi but I really want Jaida to win she is so polished and there was not a single runway I haven't disliked *.*
