Oh wow that's probably the most surprising dnq I've had in quite a while (imo of course). Not qualifying with this song didn't even go through my head at any time lol especially when I learned last week that it came 5th in one of the other contests last year!

 

I'm sad that Wholune, Trifoski and République D'Askorza are out as they were all in my votes.

I'm proud to say I gave 10 points to Rolloland, what a genius song! The only other song in my votes that missed out was Frandoot, my 7-pointer, 'Pink Pony Club' will be sorely missed in the final </3

 

I'm not too surprised at DNQing, was hoping for better but it's an improvement on last place anyway! 125 is looking promising for Harmonica so yay.

Fljótavík unfortunately drop off the list after being at the top for just the one month, giving us a new three way tie for the top with Altyr Muunilinst, Hushkanukia and Jadakissnia all in their 11th consecutive final (the latter exceeding Jadakissnia's previous national record which they matched last month). Thanks to the fun stats I crunched last month I can look back to quickly see that Altyr Muunilinst and Hushkanukia have both been leaders on this before (Altyr in BJSCs 63-66 and Hushy in BJSCs 79-83) but it's the first time Jadakissnia have been at the top of the pile.

 

New Lexico extend their national record now being one contest off having an uninterrupted year of qualifiers for the first time. Suedeonia and Varakë get back-to-back qualifiers which matches both of their national records as neither have yet ever qualified to three consecutive finals. Suedeonia previously got to 2 in a row four times (in BJSCs 95 & 96, 100 & 101, 104 & 105 and 107 & 108) while Varakë have done it twice before (in BJSCs 63 & 64 and 96 & 97). Notably Varakë have had a run of 3 entries in a row that appeared in BJSC finals (BJSCs 63-64 & 66) but this streak was broken by a one contest absence. African Grey of course qualify on their first attempt so have a new record 'streak' of 1.

 

Kluminican Republic exceed their previous record streak for non-consecutive contests which they matched last month, notably if we ignore the breaks from the contest they would also be in joint 1st place with 11 consecutive entries that have qualified.

Being announced as the last qualifier, very naughty Leww :nono: Almost collapsed there. Thank you everyone for ending my DNQ streak though, my excitement on this song was not wasted ^_^
