That episode as a whole was a mess. What was Bebe even doing there? She looked so bored and uttered about 3 words... :lol: I was not a massive fan of the challenge. I also thought the lip sync was pretty meh too.

 

There simply is not a more precious soul on this earth than Jujubee

That was such a boring challenge, to have a ball and it not even be 3 looks plus it wasn't really a theme made to wow. Cracker definitely deserved the win. It was also some bullshit that they all acted like Alexis was a definite to go and supposedly was so much worse than Blair, I know neither were going to win how I guess it doesn't matter but Blair really hasn't shone all season apart from maybe her verse on I'm In Love whereas Alexis has had much higher highs for me and generally just has more star power. I'm maybe biased though because I've found Blair quite unlikeable this season, particularly this week. "I won a mini challenge week 1 and have been floating through ever since" is not a reason to be top 4.

GUTTED for Alexis. :( Love her sm. I do think she was in the Bottom 2 though but I would've picked Blair to go as well.

Agreed, Alexis has done way more of note this season.

I would disagree with the queens sending Alexis home! I thought Blair was the weakest both in this challenge and in the competition thus far. Neither one of her looks really hit the mark she was expecting it to - especially the eleganza look as it looked like bits of material wrapped around her more than anything. I think Alexis' eleganza look was one of the best even if her character wasn't too great unfortunately. I think she would've stayed only one more episode based on just her talents so I'm not too gutted but it's a shame she's gone after what feels like the other queens ganging up on her a bit and giving in to their own insecurity.

 

Also I enjoyed this week's theme and I liked them creating a character which was also their look - we've seen much worse versions of them creating a story for a character so I thought it tied in nicely to have this in the ball where they could be a bit more costumey.

 

I'm glad Miz Cracker won as I thought both her character and eleganza look were incredible and she nailed what she wanted to do, when she's good she's great.

Alexis was my least fave left so I am happy with the outcome, even though her outro it really was because of India digging the grave for her in the last episode lol.

 

Overall I am really not happy with this All Star season at all. I love Shea and Jujubee and them two feels like are the only ones with some "All Star" quality!!!

 

I think Ru needs to pause the All Stars and I guess ideally would have them every other year or so.

Really happy with that result, Alexis was by far my least favourite remaining. Her first look was cheap and nasty, and her second look wasn't much better.

 

That challenge was a mess though, and the lip-sync was awful. At least Cracker won this week though I guess.

What an odd challenge & result! Poor Alexis. Cracker is doing better than expected! Blair I agree is kinda dead weight, deluded and somewhat two faced so far. This episode really gave the impression she wasn't aware of what being friends meant - it's not simply being polite with someone you work(ed) with. Seemed she had no investment in actually being close with Cracker except as a means to an end!

 

& tbh was she even AllStar material anyway???

A bit of a flat episode. Did not agree with Mz Crackers win (both looks were uninspiring) - should have been Jujubee.

 

Thought Blair was going before the episode started, but did feel like her critique was overly harsh. Bet India is glad with the result....

 

 

I thought Jujubee's character was the best (that hat!) and Cracker's second runway look was the best. Overall I feel it should've been Jujubee winning though.

 

I thought Blair would go home, but India's magic ensured it would be Alexis sadly. The episode was meh, although I did like the talks with Shea and Jujubee in the workroom with Ru - got me a bit teary eyed. Roxxy only won the lip sync due to the Thick and Juicy written across her bum - the lip sync itself was very lackluster.

Poor Alexis — I do think India ruined things for her there. She's been a far better queen than Blair this season, and I didn't think Blair came across well at all this episode.

 

I MUCH prefer these sorts of challenges. There's too much reliance on acting challenges in more recent seasons. Drag is about being creative and making an awesome look (or two) and I love seeing the creative process. It is NOT decorating a room and making a rubbish advert for it, or pretending to lick glass while being interviewed by the press.

 

I definitely think Alexis and Blair were the bottom two. I think Alexis did really well this season and would have loved for her to make Top 4 but alas. Jujubee is now my absolute fave :heart:

It’s the same as the Warhol Ball tbf, and the Hello Kitty challenge however that wasn’t called a ball

I think the Balls are better earlier, that might be contentious as sometimes there are too many looks to take in, but I think it feels more of an event whereas when it's top 5 and only a couple of looks, it just feels like they farted it out. I don't think it was a theme that allowed much scope either, so it fell a bit flat all in all.
