We agree! There wasn't a single track we disliked, and votes for those ranked at 32 would normally assure a top 10 slot! We may have been biased by using our new broadcast system of listening - via apple ipod happily fed through a hi fi system, with help from harmonica's Youtube playlist (many thanks!) and got to hear them all in beautiful loud stereo. What a difference!

 

So also no condolences either, far too many great tracks get no points, 8 of them are especially selling like hotcakes and will feature in our next chart after voting has ended :cheer:

Voted. There were four songs that really stood out and all of those four could have received 18 points from me in another contest.

This is one of the best quality finals we have ever had. Big round of applause to all.

 

 

There was only 5 songs I wasn't keen on, and even then I can understand the appeal of 4 of them - they just weren't to my taste.

Finally voted.

 

That was incredibly strong. Could have easily pointed seven more.

Voted, another great final! I had three commiserations in the end but there could have been many, many more. My top five are wonderful.

8 songs I thought were great and another 9 I liked quite a lot so a couple of unlucky commiserations. About the same standard of contest as the last few for me.

Just voted! I don't think my top scores are as strong as I'd like them to be but there's great depth of quality this month! Lots of songs were in contention for my lower points and even the worst of the worst aren't that bad this time!

Voted :D Best final probably since the comeback for me, lack of Rontvia notwithstanding. Entirely forgot to list my commiserations but there was a LOT :lol:

I'm glad there are other people who thought this was a great final because I really didn't think it was at all :lol: (probably not surprising given the people who are praising it - of course the opposite has been true in some other finals so it's only fair we have some pop dominated finals as well x)

 

I had enough songs that I was happy to vote for but beyond that I can take or leave pretty much everything else bar maybe 2 or 3 songs just outside my top 15. There were a lot of better songs that DNQed ofc.

Votes sent. Thoroughly enjoyed the quality in this contest. I'd say it's kinda equal with the contest from two months ago where I liked everything to a degree except for 4 or 5 songs but even those were okay too.

 

Quite happy with my votes but loads I wanted to point that missed out too.

I really liked this final. There's not as much representation from the typical styles of music that I enjoy but I definitely found the poppier entries much stronger this time around so it more than made up for it. Anyway, the FLJ votes are now in!

i won't be able to do results tomorrow as a lot of prep remaining so results will most likely be on monday night
