1. Symone

a superstar. that lipsync was nuanced, funny, charismatic, and she seems so confident in what she brings and not in an arrogant way. she also seems like she will integrate really well with the other girls - there's something next level about a talented girl who has her feet on the ground but can still play to win. she is a complete package!

 

2. LaLaRi

what an absolute ANGEL. loved her entrance look and line and her personality is off the hook. i feel she is going to have some of the talking heads of the season - absolutely hilarious. plus she has such pussy face. miss meow! her lipsync was great.

 

3. Tamisha Iman

MY DIVA!!! i cannot get "holla at me i know you know me" out of my head! she seems an absolute doll and u can totally see the legacy in her when u see her in action - a total 180 to her meet the queens which gave a very limited although poised snapshot. plus her entrance look was lovely!

 

4. Olivia Lux

awwww what a sweetheart! her lipsync was good, her smile is infectious and i think she's gonna be a really good fit for the show - can see her lasting a WHILE. and only a year and a half in drag !! get outta here.

 

5. Gottmik

obviously a STAR. i know this is probably quite a low ranking for where she'll end up for me but really like her, the lipsync was decent, the entrance outfit was lovely - just need to get to know her a bit more!

 

6. Kandy Muse

i'm surprised i had her this high! i was never a fan of her pre-drag race but since going in she's kinda giving it? her personality is loud but not too much. she's cocky but in an endearing way. she is putting her money where her mouth is. i'm in so far!

 

7. Joey Jay

AWWWW JOEY. i know she's basic as f***, i know she's a bit filler but she knows exactly who she is, what she brings and she's adorable in and out of drag! i just really like her vibe. she's not gonna last long but i'll enjoy her while she's here!

 

8. Denali

denali is someone i can see being a bit of a valentina-esque villain in that she'll be shady, snappy and calculated but is JUST kinda 'sweet' enough to carry it off without coming off as too much! the lipsync on the skates was very impressive and it's a shame that it maybe held her up just a smidge because the lipsync with LaLa was SO close.

 

9. Utica Queen

bonkers <3 liking her! i wasn't really in love with her entrance look although i loved all the separate pieces (i haaaated her hair omg - i think a smoother blonde/brow wig would've pulled it together?)

 

10. Rosé

very confident and capable queen - you can tell she's gonna be an absolute ballbuster if she doesn't get her way but i'm kinda here for it! not AS impressed by her look in the first episode which is why she's so low. plus she leaves me a bit cold.

 

11. Elliott with 2 Ts

contrary to what tina said i thought her entrance look was super cute! plus her entrance line... jesus... come on white women!! however past that nothing really grabbing me so far.

 

12. Tina Burner

i mean she is burnt! there is definitely talent there but absolutely no warmth, she doesn't make u want to root for her at all. plus to be a bit shady, something's a bit off with her face? like she just looks confused and snarky all the time.

 

13. Kahmora Hall

go on girl give us absolutely NOTHING :heart: do not feature her at all! this whole idea that she's a model for someone else's brand - it's just not enough for me.

They all had a strong moment in the runway part and all showed promise tbh.

Reasoning for my scores this week:

 

1. Olivia Lux

Great at mini, great at maxi, clearly thought through what she was doing and planned, and was very likeable and not a bully.

 

2. Elliott With 2 Ts

Decent at mini, the best in my view at the maxi, was very charming and likeable this episode despite all the shit the other girls gave her.

 

3. Gottmik

Great at mini, not terrible in the maxi, the best runway look, still very likeable.

 

4. Kandy Muse

Pretty good for one of the looks at the mini, not terrible in the maxi, runway look not great but not dreadful, compelling confessionals.

 

5. Tina Burner

Decent at the mini, decent at the maxi, tried something different for the runway look, but was pretty unpleasant through the episode.

 

6. Symone

Ok at the mini but nothing jawdropping, pretty dreadful at the maxi - poor verse, poor performance look. Part of the 'we are the winners' circlejerk which was irritating, along with Tina, Kandy and LaLa. Great runway, but that doesn't for me make up for the rest of the episode, and of course she won the final lipsync & was great at it, but in order to get there she had to be given a BIG leg up. I expect her to win a lot of challenges through the season, so I don't feel she needed this early boost.

 

7. LaLa Ri

Ok at the mini but nothing jawdropping, maxi was decent performance wise and verse wise but her look was nothing jawdropping again. Final runway was pretty great, but overall didn't give me much through the episode and was, as with the three above her, unpleasantly cocky. Except unlike Symone and Tina there was less there to back it up.

1. Olivia Lux - good all round

2. Elliott - loooooved the night look

3. Gottmik - at times faded but some good looks

4. Tina Burner - feel like she should be better though

5. Symone - I did not see what the judges saw...(good lip sync though)

6. Lala Ri - just underwhelmed

7. Kandy Muse - hated the looks

01. Symone (her sense for style is everything, I loved her runway look too and the way she owns the stage)

02. Gottmik (I LOVE LOVE LOVED her day and night looks, wish she had a little more confidence in the group performance)

03. Tina Burner (her rap was surprisingly good. Agree with the judges though her style is a big hodge podge)

04. Elliot With 2 T's (instantly wanted to root for them as an underdog, her dancing was fun along with her rap even if her style is dated)

05. Olivia Lux (She's talented sure, but her Rachel Berry positivity is too much for me personally. I can see her going far in the competition)

06. Kandy Muse (Her nervousness in the group performance was a bit of a shock given her ballsy attitude. Looks like she believes her own hype a bit too much)

07. Lala Ri (nothing fascinating yet, meh)
