November 11, 20213 yr Author Ok, the pluses: Really strong episode in the werkroom and for showing the queens' personalities Maxi challenge was fine and had some funny moments A decent runway The banter & the dolls seemed friendlier with each other than for ages The minuses: Stupid gag with no payoff Literally inconsequential to the season We're STILL having those crappy werkroom chats that take up about 10 minutes where the queens discuss Being Gay 101 as if 90% of the audience doesn't know it all inside out. November 11, 20213 yr Kitty is honestly one of the most undeserving front runners ever, I have to say. Nothing that comes out her mouth is remotely original and her shtick during the lip sync was no exception.

I said earlier in the season, but she's very robotically Drag Race, it's like someone put Baga and Cheryl Hole in a blender and there was a power failure halfway through :lol: Even in a weak cast, for me she hasn't really stood out and it's really baffling to me how people have received her. No disrespect I'm sure she is a nice person but I just don't get it.
November 11, 20213 yr Really liked this episode. I understand why there was no elimination (again) but Vanity really is a comfortable 4th. If top 2 isn’t Ella and Kitty I will be surprised. Both had a really strong week Every time I see Russell Tovey I fall in love with him again! Such a beautiful man
November 11, 20213 yr Another really great episode! The werk room moments were really great and loved Kitty auditioning the girls for the roles. :lol: I also really liked the main challenge - I thought all the girls did really well! I laughed quite a lot and thought the writing was good. Kitty was by far my favourite. She slayed it and loved all her little references she threw in to her acting. Ella, Vanity and Krystal were all great too. I LOVED Krystal's runway - so good. And Ella as a oompa loompa is amazing. :lol: The lip sync was OK. I thought they both did a good job. Although I did laugh at Kitty's first death drop. I'm pretty sure she really prayed when making that cross before she dropped. :lol:
November 11, 20213 yr Finally giving us a decent lip-sync song, it's only taken three seasons..! I think every song this series has been really really stellar and then Dont Start Now, You Dont Have To Say You Love Me, Last Thing On My Mind, even Power and Spice Up Your Life were 10/10 choices from previous seasons and I’d much rather than use a wide range of eras and genres to test the queens!

November 12, 20213 yr I could not disagree with this thread more, Kitty is THE saving grace of the season for me. Everyone else feels like they’re exhausted at this point (understandably) but she’s the life and soul that’s keeping any energy left in the season because she’s having so much fun. That’s not to say the others are doing bad by any means, but you can really feel the fatigue building in Krystal at this point, who really feels like she’s fighting for her life with every challenge now, bless her heart. I’ve truly warmed to her now. My cheeks actually ache from smiling so much at that lip sync aswell, they were both so much fun. Another great episode IMO!
November 12, 20213 yr It's also definitely not a coincidence that the last two episodes have been, arguably but I've seen a lot agree, two of the best and most fun episodes of the series. And they just happen to have been won by one of the best and most fun contestants. The gay gasp I let out when Something New began aswell. *faints*
November 12, 20213 yr THAT LIP SYNC SONG CHOICE....MY GAY HEART SCREAMED YESSS :cheer: I screamed out OMG, so happy to finally have a GA song and even Ru singing along. I was shook. Overall it was a very strong episide, I think all four of them did well but Ella and Kitty were definitely the two strongest. So does this mean we will have another regular episode next week before the final on the 25th?

November 12, 20213 yr Author This episode actually felt like Drag Race UK again the most of any this season I think. If they could just cut out the scripted werkroom conversations it would be perfect for me. And YASS at Something New :D
