So there isn’t any sales info? Confused

We'd have posted it if we had it, Music Week haven't posted an article yet

Well it won’t be very long since this week will be its 7th week in the chart.

Every song will basically increase by default in the first week of January tho so I imagine it will have an increase on its 9th week to extend its SCR run by another 3

Oh jesus, is that ArrDee abomination seriously coming for top 3 once Christmas is over? :drama:

He just wanted some morrrrre

Ed and Elton still some way ahead of Wham! And Mariah. Starting to think that Wham! won’t reach #1 next week after all.

Also does anyone have any estimates on how the battle for #2 in the YE albums between Ed, Abba and Olivia is looking?

Yeah not sure how it didn't make the big top 40 number 1 isn't that basically the iTunes chart

I noticed this especially this year, thats why I stopped following and listening to it and instead just check it after its done on the website!

Adele's sales up 3.5k from last week's Monday midweek. Although not sure of missing data etc. If the total sales mirror the % increase she should be on for ~80k this week. Although sales might be higher than usual as the week goes on, particularly for Wednesday/Thursday with Christmas shopping/rush to Christmas. With Christmas Eve and Christmas Day being in the next chart week, I could see Adele doing 80-90k this week and then her drop next week not being too bad and doing 40-50k.

Shame there's no sign of Leona's "Kiss Me It's Christmas (feat. Ne-Yo)" in the top 100. I hope the song keeps climbing on Amazon throughout the week and maybe sneaks in come Friday. If not it might be able to chart next week if Christmas eve/Christmas day streams are big enough.

LadBaby’s mideeek chart update sales through the years:

2018: We Built This City (16,754)

2019: I Love Sausage Rolls (41,700)

2020: Don’t Stop Me Eatin’ (86,170)

2021: Sausage Rolls For Everyone (79,935)

No Boris kunt sales though
No Boris kunt sales though

Would have been nice to see how close to Mariah and a higher peak than last years it was.

So much for the "backlash" against it they were on about then.

Suppose you gotta create some sense of drama, it's the only number 1 of the year the casual public care about

Also does anyone have any estimates on how the battle for #2 in the YE albums between Ed, Abba and Olivia is looking?

As of last week it was: Olivia 384k

Ed 362k

ABBA 359k

Think Ed should definitely take 2nd but the race for 3rd could be close. So far it doesn’t look like ABBA are going to get much of a Christmas week sales boost.

Have Ladbaby done 12k of streams already or are there some CDs in that total? (moot point really, all I'm interested in is how far it'll fall next week)

I hope Chris Rea stays ahead of Elton John and can overtake another 3 songs next week - the two 1-week wonders should be a given, but I feel like he'll stall at #11 once again.
