If the album is as good as expected, and the critics remain supportive as they have been, then she could have had a shot at being the olive-branch pop nominee for the Mercury Prize. It's just short-sighted in numerous ways

This does fit with The Sun (I think it was) saying that her team were in the process of working out the optimum strategy.

I agree with The Brits but the album was clearly nowhere near finished or pressings of vinyl booked as her slot was last minute as Charli pulled out, so they couldn't get a pre-order out there with nothing and no confirmed tracklist.

The way all her socials comments are nothing but requests for thr album. I fear she's losing fan goodwill without an announcement.

You can see how people are bored of waiting now. RCA's strategy is actually ruining her career at this point.

FUFN acoustic / remix / lyric video all have terribly low figures because they left it weeks to release and the visualiser needed to be a huge moment to draw any attention back.

They need to announce the pre-orders asap or at least before her key performances start (Big Weekend / Glasto / Capital)

You can see in the forums to she's alienating her main fanbase by all these delays it's hard to get excited for anything.

Back when AOMD was released I had such high hopes for Jade as an artist. Everything seemed very elevated and thought out from the cover art, to the video where she seemed to be making a mini universe with the characters, and to how unique and interesting the song structure was.

But with every follow up release and the complete mess of the album rollout it seems that AOMD was a fluke and her/the label really don’t know what they’re doing. Which is a big shame as I’ve lost all interest in her and what music she might bring in the future.

It's a shame because she is very active on social media , just shows the label is fumbling with her

I remember thinking that she was going to be the break out star from Little Mix. That she had managed what Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Perrie hadn't.

But apart from respect within the industry, her solo career has panned out pretty much so the same way as all the others.

To think the June 13th release date felt late at the time of the BRITs and now it’ll likely pass by without even an announcement.

It's not a bad shout waiting for the BRITs effect to die down to launch FUFN. However...

Not having an album announcement or preorder up to hook in the casuals is just C R A Z Y.

There is almost zero chance of the album being shelved (following a BRIT win and that performance), if you want as many people to buy the album in this day and age, you need to make it easy for casual fans to find when it's on their mind. The performance will be long overshadowed by something else by the time a preorder is up - even the morning after is too late, really.

Album artwork/title/tracklisting/precise formats not ready? Who gives a flying f***^*... You don't even need that for a webstore pre-order:

• "Standard Vinyl" / "Standard CD" / "Standard Cassette"

• "Artwork being finalised"

• "Title TBC"

• "Tracklist to be revealed"

• "Debut album by JADE, featuring the SMASH HIT 'Angel Of My Dreams', performed at the 2025 BRIT awards!"

• "Release date 16/05/2025"

These can ALL be updated/added as and when the time comes... Release dates don't really matter in the grand scheme of things. RCA really are useless. 🤣

I'm so beyond gutted Jade's label have screwed her over like this. Jade and her team deserve better than this. 😔

I was wondering when her album was coming out so thought to check the thread - such a shame :( I can see why they're doing this as releasing a lot of singles prior can benefit in the long run but it's also missing out on the hype that was built around her. Either way I look forward to listening to it whenever it drops!

Is she teasing her album now?

The individual looks could be the photo card’s because one look is AOMd themed.

Then she’s put 👀 for the last shot which could potentially be an album cover or poster?!

I think it could be the album book she mentioned recently? The photobook she was planning on putting out with the original title of the album?
