Oh Sam at #20. Unsure if he'll just slide back out of the top 20 come Friday. I thought he'd be a few places further down than that. Very stable still tbh!

I remember two weeks ago today when HOF was up 16 places to #39 because of the Jubilee but luckily, it didn’t do enough for a reset so there’s hope for SGU not getting a reset

Must be lots of missing data.

From the OCC.

"Several acts who hit the stage at the weekend’s Glastonbury Festival are on course for huge uplifts on the Official Albums Chart this week.

With only initial data submitted on Monday, albums by Billie Eilish, Sam Fender and Wet Leg are set to climb up the chart; further albums by Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar and Diana Ross are also expected to surge as streaming data comes through over the coming two days.

Other acts enjoying a post-Glastonbury uplift include Arooj Aftab, with Vulture Prince (55), Robert Plant and Alison Krauss with Raise The Roof (56). And, while data for the period after her performance is still to be finalised, the anticipation alone for Diana Ross’s performance is already in evidence, with two of her albums set to re-enter the Top 100 - greatest hits collection The Greatest (in at 57) and 2021 studio album Thank You (in at 100)."

Surprised to see Beatles 1 drop from 35 to 43 even though it reached no. 13 on the iTunes chart.

That's expected when streaming is almost entirely a day behind

It's the same missing data as we get every week, most Sunday streams aren't counted until the Tuesday update.
Come on Sam, get that reset!

Get that reset, then have 3 weeks in the top 40 then FO for good

Sam's Spotify numbers today are up 36.4% from what they were this time last week so definitely plausible that he could get a reset (again). I'm sure the Glasto boost will fade a bit by the end of the week though (it's already down a bit from yesterday when he had a 42.6% week on week increase).

I once again implore the public to realise 'Get You Down' is a far better song. But I still like 'Seventeen Going Under' more than 'Getting Started' at least (even after its overexposure).

Great to see ‘Getting Started’ by San Fender entering the top 100 even if it’s likely to fall out by Friday. Same goes for ‘Wet Dream’ by Wet Leg and Gorillaz entering at 71!

This! Would love ‘Getting Started’ to hold on but unlikely :nocheer:

Would love for Gorillaz to hold top 100 (It Has so much Demon Days Vibes) Also, Porcupine trees? Have they reallly scored over 11,000 sales so far this week, this is WEIRD!!!
‘Getting Started’ entered the Apple Music charts in the low top 200 right after Glastonbury, it then dropped out. However it has since re-entered at #170 so it could be on its way to being a hit!
I think 17 Going Under will be reset as the footage is still available on the iplayer and will get promoted this week plus it was the standout song from the set in the media! He did well considering he replaced Doja Cat!

How have Porcupine Trees done 12k already?

They have lots of albums like 11 or something

But only the last 2 went low top 40 I think

Buzzjack: ACR is not working and needs to be revised as songs are staying on SCR too long

Also Buzzjack: Seventeen Going Under must get a reset

Their last album was also 13 years ago though.

Perhaps Afraid To Feel can do a legendary 4-3-2-1 climb!

Yeah I love SGU but it doesn’t particularly need 3 more weeks Top 40.

Exactly, I'm all up for resets if a song can get a new peak, but for a song to get 3 extra weeks low top 40, thats useless

It'd be more than 3 weeks, let's be real x

Steven Wilson has had 2 top 5 solo albums, his solo career basically kept the band's chart momentum going while they were on hiatus.
