Guessing Beyoncé won’t be getting to number 1 with this song?

Wouldn’t rule it out at all yet. With the video still to be released plus the boost it will get on album release week, I think it still might

Poor James Bay - expecting him to enter at #5 after that start followed by a 100 place plummet in week 2 :nocheer:
Goodness that is very low sales in album charts this week… will any of them pass 10k?

Harry was on 14k last week after being on 5,012 on Monday so I'd expect him to be over 10k!

Ella Henderson should have a really good chance of having both "21 Reasons" and "Crazy What Love Can Do" in the top 10 this week. :cheer:

Nice to see Ava Max's "Maybe You're the Problem" at #80. I hope it may manage to get another week top 100. Should've been a massive hit. :(

Wasn’t expecting James to be #1 in the initial update. Nuts how much interest in him as an artist has dropped since the first album, which is a shame as the quality of the music is still there.
lol at whoever said we would have bad habits as the only ed song in the chart this week, peru & 2step are on acr... but there are 5 ed songs in the top 40 update

To be fair I expected 'Peru' to be 10+ places lower as a load of songs have fallen from top 20 to out of top 40 when they've gone to ACR.

Ooh I thought the moment had passed for 'Mixed Emotions' to make the top 40 - it's one of my least favourite songs on their album lol but still heavily rooting for it to get that top 40 peak since it's been so long since their last (almost a decade...!) Yung Gravy in the top 100 also :cheeseblock:

Burna Boy closer to being in contention for the #1 album than I expected, he still won't be #1 of course (Harry will pretty comfortably by the looks of things) but seems plausible he could debut at #3 behind Harry and Ed? Good initial showing for Brent Faiyaz too. Also top 20 for Viagra Boys, iconic. Was a bit disappointed to see Metric not in the top 100 but looking back I see they only actually have one top 100 album and even that only got to #51 (in 2012) so I guess they're just not as popular as I thought oops

Intriguing that Kim Petras' Amazon only version of Running Up That Hill is now in the Top 100. *cue the Alexa bashing*

Wait it's not Christmas yet tho

(lol if Kim Petras finally gets her first top 100 with this - although given the Amazon songs' penchant for falling heavily over the mids I don't know if #74 is high enough for it to stay top 100 all week)

I hope Burna Boy's Ed collab and Tiësto XCX can both remain in the top 40 by Friday

Also not too bad a drop for Sam (Ryder) on ACR - 45. Will probably slide 5 more places or something but that's also way better than I expected. Especially when Tate has dropped to the 60's!

Would like 'Mixed Emotions' to remain top 40, quite liking that.

the Kim Petras cover has been low top 100 on Amazon for over a month now, climbed in the last week and now it's top 50

but top 50 on Amazon and nothing else... not sure if thats enough to chart come Friday

it's a decent cove but quite straightforward, does nothing with the song, it's like it's using the same backtrack of the original

she's not re-inventing the song or something... pretty similar to the Placebo cover

to be fair though, tate has been on chart for 20+ weeks, whereas sam has been on chart for way less, and the song is still quite popular, so its unsurprising that sam had a smaller drop than tate

was thinking now that the Beyonce single could easily go to #1 during album release week, the streaming figures are gonna be huge

so that should benefit Break my Soul, especially if they are smart and synchronize with the video release... or is it too late for that?

I'm not sure the music video release is going to have that much of an effect on 'BREAK MY SOUL' really, big music video boosts of late have generally been confined to post-album singles (e.g. 'Save Your Tears' / 'Watermelon Sugar') unless I am forgetting anything obvious. The album release will be the best chance of pushing it to #1. But in the mean time it's at least having a very respectable and stable run regardless.

It seems very unlike her to be leaving this song without a video for so long though!

Montero & Industry Baby were boosted by major video streams. As well as we dont talk about bruno

Shame 'Chew On My Heart' (aka by far and away his best song ever) won't find its way onto an album.

It’s now been added to the deluxe version that came out today

NO OTHER SALES INFO

harry just released the music video for late night talking... i'm expecting it back in the top 10 now. really hope it doesn't cost cwlcd its top 10 spot :(

Glad that 'Last Last' has climbed a few places since First Look, I guess that was just the Amazon bias holding it back a bit, it's up to about where I expected it would be now. 'For My Hand' looking like it's now safe to debut in the top 40 after all too so it's at least not a second week in a row of zero brand new entries (and we'll get Metallica and Tiësto climbing in too).

Burna Boy only closing the gap to James Bay's album by a few hundred since Monday so James could cling onto a top 3 debut.

Even if the video has a big impact it's not going to be that soon! Would be very surprised at this point if CWLCD dropped out of the top 10 (sadly)
