Would really like to see the Muse Halloween track stay top 100, a fun song (even if it barely sounds like a Muse song at all) but doubt it will if it's #51 mainly from physical sales. 'Spooky Scary Skeletons' going top 100 would be iconic too *.* I see Adele has indeed got a reset (again) then. Amazed that Kylies impossible princess is at No37, thought for sure it would be nowhere near the top 100 or 200 even. I believe one of its physical formats didn't ship until the second week and those are now accounted for, it's back to selling nearly nothing per day again now so still likely to drop out of the top 100.

October 31, 20223 yr Oh they should definitely stay comfortably top 100 - and actually I'd forgotten how high they charted last year (Ray #38, MJ #40, Bobby #41 + Rockwell #47 and 'Time Warp' #78) so there's a decent chance they could stay top 40. Would really like to see 'Monster Mash' make the top 40 in particular, it hasn't yet done so in the digital era!
October 31, 20223 yr Looks like the best opportunity for Monster Mash to make a first Top 40 appearance since 1973 came and went last year, with Halloween being on a Sunday so big streams over two days rather than just one.

You're overall point still stands, but some Halloween songs like Thriller surely get decent streams everyday, since it's a general classic song anyway, so that might help it stay in the top 100. It's not like Christmas songs where it's uncomfortable to listen to them when it's not Christmas.

I'm sure all of us have seen a post and completely disagreed with it, which is totally fine! But please, if you're disagreeing, stick to that. Insult the point being made, don't insult the poster, because at the end of the day, everyone here is a real person who have their own struggles. By all means disagree, argue etc, but please, don't stoop to insulting people simply because you dislike or don't agree with the point being made!
