'It's Alright' is up there with one of the PSB's best, and another one of my losses!

Thought that was referring to Calvin Harris's 'My Way' then, I was gonna say it's a good song but hardly iconic
Oooooops at Chic not qualifying. That’s an absolute classic and a really influential one too
A few classics out at the 53 point mark... and Olly Murs
'Dear Darlin', 'Road Rage', 'Fancy' and 'Not Afraid' are some great songs dropping out from the last page (not that I voted in the first round obvs but still).

Cash Cash featuring Bebe Rexha - Take Me Home (3)

From 2013, this is the only top 20 single by the trio from New Jersey.

57 is the first points total with no songs. No great losses today for me.

I'm losing songs at an alarming rate now

'Larger Than Life' - this got 21 points from me, Max Martin at his absolute best, always had a big soft spot for it

'Shattered Dreams' - my 24 pointer, for me this is one of the best songs of the 80s.

By my reckoning I've only got 12 of my 30 songs remaining, how's everyone else doing?

I think I still have about 25 from a quick skim! 'This Wheel's On Fire' has been an outlier from the top half of my votes.

The exit of Take Me Home tonight means I've lost exactly half of mine so far.

So far I lost (if I didn't miss anything):

+27 Katie Melua – Nine Million Bicycles

+23 Eruption featuring Precious Wilson - I Can't Stand The Rain

+18 Peggy Lee - Fever

+17 The Bee Gees - Jive Talkin'

+16 Electric Six – Gay Bar

+14 The Shamen – Phorever People

+13 Chic - Good Times

+10 Kylie Minogue – Red Blooded Woman

+9 Lady Gaga – Stupid Love

+8 Livin' Joy – Don't Stop Movin'

+7 Five – Don't Wanna Let You Go - was #9

+5 J Balvin & Willy William – Mi Gente

+4 Darude – Feel the Beat

+2 Soft Cell/Marc Almond - Tainted Love '91

+1 Guru Josh – Infinity (1990s... Time for the Guru)

Exactly 15 songs out of 30, 8 of which were in the 1-10 points section - so not to worry much about. I didn't realise 'Nine Million Bicycles' was out and I had given it 27 out of 29 votes though. :(

I think I've got 19 songs left, including all my top 10, and only the two U2 songs from the early 2000s dropping out from my top 18.

Tears For Fears - Pale Shelter (3)

The first version of Pale Shelter in 1982 didn't chart at all. This re-recorded version reached the top five after Mad World and Change had already done so. Tears For Fears still have the last of their three songs left.
