Wonder if SGU could be coming for another reset? It’s having big boots on Apple and Spotify with his stadium concerts taking place

As a Sam Fender fan... I'm getting tired of this song being the one that gets boosted all the time :( It's never been my absolute favourite Sam song and I do like it, but it shouldn't be his biggest hit :(

I hope J Hus can push Dave Cee off the top on Spotify

I like SGU but it really doesn't need a reset again especially when two from last year still to go back on ACR as well.

SGU is his only top 40 hit so it's understandably the one that gets the biggest boost every time he performs.

The boosts into the chart again for songs like potentially SGU, Cuff It and co just shows how ACR isn’t working, I don’t mind As It Was as much because there’s a history of songs reentering after promo like the Brits and also songs being re released or having a second wind like Running Up That Hill but songs being streamed again due to tours was never really a thing.

Liking the new Niall Horan song not quite in the Slow Hands/Nice To Meet Ya level of greatness but it's a nice gentle summer chill song. I hope it can do good things in the charts.

A decent climb for Unhealthy. Not a big fan of the song, but would love to see this go top 40 if only for Shania's sake. Would be quite the sight to see Kylie, Madonna and Shania all top 40 in 2023.

I would imagine SGU is quite the moment when seeing Sam Fender live so people are streaming to remember or recreate that moment in their heads.

gave dial drunk a listen. he sounds quite good on the studio recording, nowhere near as nasaly as he did live lol. its a decent track, but again it sounds like a lot of the rest of his music

P!nk's album still doing really well on Amazon. A few tracks weren't appearing on the non-prime chart (Amazon being its glitchy self). "Runaway" rising some more today compared with yesterday and the day before. Hopefully it'll be top 200 soon!

I said this about Dave last week and I am so far being proven very wrong but again I'm not sure if J Hus is likely to hold up that well given the pretty muted reception it seems to have got from fans, although that is mostly just for the Drake verse - maybe he should consider being cheeky and releasing a solo version as well :teresa: amazing to see another song going over 1 million anyway, and wow at Dave rebounding back over 1.2 million again to block it from even getting a day at #1 (at least for now)!

 

7 days and counting of over 1 million streams for 'Sprinter', does anyone have the data for how many days the previous songs that peaked over a million stayed over the mark?

 

I know the name Noah Kahan from 'Stick Season' being a pretty long lasting hit on US Spotify albeit one that never quite cracked the Hot 100 so I never listened to it - tbh I always just assumed he was a country artist but I see he's apparently more indie/folk so consider me mildly intrigued. It's interesting that we keep getting surprisingly big first day hits on Spotify from these kind of artists (see also Hozier and David Kushner) but Apple Music never seems to immediately reflect their popularity anywhere near as much.

 

Wow at Kylie now cracking the top 40, still unsure if she has much of a chance of making the top 10 after missing out last week but these are the kind of moves she needs to make if she is to have a chance.

 

Also happy to see 'Meltdown' getting a decent re-entry for Niall, wish that had done better though.
