Was it this week that Miracle's newest CD batch was shipping?

So... lemme get this right.

If Miracle gets an increase this week because of physicals, if its streams fall then the increase in overall sales wouldn't count with its ACR chances later?

There is a Miracle 12” vinyl - maybe it was released this week? I know it’s been on pre-order for a while.

Correct!

Love to see Calvin & Ellie retake the No.1 (most likely Dave & Central Cee will be on top tomorrow) its pretty rare to have a track going back to #1 for a third time, can't remember who did that last time. Its been awhile that was achieved.
They are releasing a vinyl of Miracle in July? Months after release when it's already past it's streaming peak. Why?

I’m guessing that it is because they can’t get them pressed before then.

There is a second batch of "Miracle" CDs coming. Essentially they got too many orders for the first batch. Last I was told the second batch was with Calvin to sign (I ordered the CD but haven't received yet - I emailed asking and they mentioned they are getting a second batch ready). I haven't had a confirmation email yet to say my order has been dispatched but hoping it will be this week!

Calvin scamming another week as First Look #1 *_*

Surely no way he's shifted anywhere close to enough CDs to stay ahead by the end of the week, I imagine J Hus will get back to #2 as well.

Yay for 'Satellite' actually getting a play this time lol - prayer circle for the main chart show to follow suit this time but the fact it's still behind 'Late Night Talking' is not promising x

Good to see Hannah Laing and Jorja Smith continuing to make good progress, hopefully top 10 this week for the former ~

I don't understand Leigh-Anne's label

if they are going so strong on week 1 with physicals

they should have spend some $$$ on Spotify having the song as #1 on NMF and insta-added to HH

Let’s face it, although she’s from LM, Leigh-Anne is brand new as a solo act so I really don’t think that there is that much difference her being #4 or #1 on NMF. I mean if you’re making the effort to check that playlist, surely you’re looking down more than 1 song? I’m sure when you click on the playlist, normally at least the first 4 songs are visible straight away before you press play.

I don’t think the lack of playlist support is to blame for her fall today sadly… for a launch of a new artist it has been pretty supported. Lots of artists would dream of such high placings straight away.

It's not that easy, though. If it were, everyone would just transfer some money to Spotify and get their song playlisted. There's more to it. I know Spotify base some of their early playlisting decisions on pre-saves, which is why artists push them so much. Perhaps it didn't get enough for Spotify to think it was necessary to add it to HH immediately? It's certainly not just the label being incompetent though, there's absolutely no evidence of them just not sending a cheque.

Kylie and BMG would have been paying Spotify for the last 10 years if it was that easy.

#18 is a bit lower than I would've expected for Peggy Gou today but I'm sure it's bound to be a future top 10.

Intrigued to find out Doja Cat's first mids position. Here's hoping she'll be safe for a top 40 placing come Friday.

Kylie still Top 10 then.

Were there some cassettes dispatched on Friday which would then count towards this week?

My cassette arrived Saturday & on the sticker it said dispatched Friday.

I ordered as soon as they came back in stock so guess I’m not the only one who’s sale will count this week.

going to grab 2 copies of Kylie's cassettes and one vinyl of Calvin's, with those 2 in, its best top 10 in ages....

I think there is still a bunch of React CDs to be shipped so I think it will stay in top 10 a bit too.
