August 25, 20231 yr semi is a little hit and miss, the alt songs are doing work for the most part but I do have a few fantastic songs in this semi, I'll take them voting soon~
August 26, 20231 yr Voted! Shame I missed the listen-through the other night. There’s some really great stuff in semi 2 — especially the absolute mayhem at the beginning. *.* Tbh I’m annoyed with myself for my song choice this month. I was worried my choices wouldn't get confirmed so decided to send something I usually wouldn’t and scrambled to find something at the last minute. Oop. I should just send what I like in future.
August 26, 20231 yr Voted. The lack of hype and zero predictions to qualify makes me sad :cry: Definitely one of my all time favourites so I'll continue to love it even if no one else does. Hoping this is one of those rare times I defy the odds :lol:
August 26, 20231 yr Votes are in... found it difficult to vote in SF1 as there is more music than normal to my indie/alternative taste, but I also found myself liking some of the pop entries more than I usually do

August 26, 20231 yr Semi 2 is kinda legendarily frontloaded. Probably the most to my tastes opening 5 songs ever. (which means I imagine it was torturous for some other people haha) Sending my votes now, hype to all of those first 5 songs + Cumulonimbia and Suedeonia, thought this was a really strong semi overall though, helped by quite a few songs growing on me a lot on second listen (including one that I initially had nearly in my bottom 5 but is actually getting points from me now, I must have not been paying attention to it the first time so definitely a good thing I got the relisten in lol).
