The Dani Sylvia song was yet another one that clicked with me a fair bit more with a second listen, though still a step down from 'She Swam Higher' imo. I imagine it'll still be at least a top 10 contender anyway.

 

A bit of a blow to FSR Rontvia's chances of pulling off the end of year #1 there oops - afraid this one wasn't really my thing </3

 

I got 8 of my top 10 through in both semis and in both it was my 8th and 10th placers that missed out, that's quite the coincidence / curse! (Pagasa and Bronzil both rose into my top 10 on second listen and knocked out two songs that both qualified so I would possibly have had a full house if I stuck to my first impression votes).

I only lost Singerpurear from my votes, so not a great semi for my personal chart with that Corinne song being the only song in it I've charted other than my own entry: 11 votes for Samia is nice to see though, thanks Rich for the 8, Leo and Sam for 6, Kath for 5, John for 4, and the other six voters. Ha it’s ok, Delta is comforting me live with Born To Try and Believe Again right now in London.

 

I always slip up at least once a year oops. Was trying not to DNQ to contend for the EOY #1 and didn’t think this song was a particular risk - and I love its energy and vibe of course - but it can’t always go our way. Kudos to those who have again kept their huge Q streaks.

Just catching up as was out but fab to be through again as whilst I think it's a catchy track it didn't mean it was safe necessarily. Poor Rich though coming so close in the opposite semi - hadn't heard it but that must be gutting with pop people snubbing it :(
