Sergio Kitchens (born 1993), used to practice what he and his friends called “six-month runs”: cut all extraneous spending for six months and save, save, save. The discipline and deferred gratification served him well: After spending his late teens and early twenties quietly exploring his style and releasing only one mixtape, Gunna broke big in 2016 with a feature on Young Thug’s “Floyd Mayweather”—a cosign that helped him bypass the hustle and made him one of the most sought-after new voices in the game. Later that year, Thug’s YSL label released the first of his multi-part Drip Season series, which synthesized his influences into an airy trap sound: smooth and mellow, blending spacious beats with a relaxed, highly melodic delivery and off-the-cuff humor. Between a couple more seasons of Drip and features with Travis Scott (“Yosemite”) and Metro Boomin (“Space Cadet”), Gunna also forged a productive collaboration with Atlanta rapper Lil Baby, releasing Drip Harder in late 2018. The pairing was anointed GOAT status from a sometime GOAT himself, Future, with whom Gunna also featured on “Unicorn Purp.” Like Thug, Gunna has a thing for fashion; “drip” is his slang for personal style. “The salesmen that know me in Barneys say I smell like Biscotti mixed with Creed,” he raps on “Idk Why,” from his official 2019 debut album, Drip or Drown 2. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2018 28 Drip Too Hard (Lil Baby & Gunna) -1- 2018 46 Never Recover (Lil Baby, Gunna & Drake) -AT- 2018 38 Broken Homes (The Plug presents Nafe Smallz, M Huncho & Gunna) 2019 52 Hot (Young Thug feat. Developed from an earlier group, the Rain, the band originally consisted of Liam Gallagher (lead vocals, tambourine), Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs (guitar), Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan (bass guitar) and Tony McCarroll (drums). Upon returning to Manchester, Liam's older brother, Noel Gallagher (lead guitar, vocals) joined as a fifth member, which formed the band's core and settled line-up. During the course of their existence, they had various line-up changes, though the Gallagher brothers remained as the staple members until the group's demise. Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993 and released their record-setting debut album Definitely Maybe (1994). The following year the band recorded (What's the Story) Morning Glory? (1995) with drummer Alan White, in the midst of a chart rivalry with Britpop peers Blur. (What's the Story) Morning Glory? became one of the best-selling albums of all time, selling over 22 million copies worldwide, and the Gallagher brothers were featured regularly in tabloid newspapers for their sibling disputes and wild lifestyles. In 1996, Oasis performed two nights at Knebworth for an audience of 125,000 each night, which were at the time the largest outdoor concerts in UK history. 2.5 million people applied for tickets, which remains the highest demand for a show in British history. In 1997, Oasis released their third album, Be Here Now (1997); although it was the fastest-selling album in UK chart history, and went on to sell 8 million copies, its popularity tapered off quickly. McGuigan and Arthurs left Oasis in 1999 as the band released Standing on the Shoulder of Giants (2000). They were replaced by former Heavy Stereo guitarist/frontman Gem Archer and former Ride guitarist/frontman Andy Bell. Their fifth studio album Heathen Chemistry was released in 2002. In 2004, White left, leaving them as a four-piece, with the addition of the Who drummer Zak Starkey as an unofficial recording and touring fifth member. They found renewed success and popularity with Don't Believe the Truth (2005). Following the recording of the band's seventh album Dig Out Your Soul in May 2008, Starkey departed from the band. Chris Sharrock was recruited as a touring member, and Oasis did their last tour as a collective band. During the tour the Gallagher brothers' deteriorating relationship led to Noel Gallagher announcing his departure in August 2009, after a backstage altercation with Liam. The rest of the band, led by Liam, decided to continue, under the name Beady Eye, until their breakup in 2014. Noel formed a solo project, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Following the breakup of Beady Eye, Liam began a solo career, Bell reunited with former band Ride, while Archer and Sharrock became members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. Oasis have had eight UK number-one singles and eight UK number-one albums. They have won 17 NME Awards, nine Q Awards, four MTV Europe Music Awards and six Brit Awards, including one in 2007 for Outstanding Contribution to Music and one for the Best Album of the Last 30 Years–for (What's the Story) Morning Glory?–as voted by BBC Radio 2 listeners; (What's the Story) Morning Glory? is also the fifth best-selling album in UK chart history, and was the UK's biggest-selling album of the 1990s. They have been nominated for two Grammy Awards. As of 2009, Oasis have sold over 75 million records worldwide. The band were listed in the Guinness World Records book in 2010 for "Longest Top 10 UK Chart Run by a Group" after an unprecedented run of 22 top 10 hits in the UK. The band also holds the Guinness World Record for the most successful act in the UK between the years 1995 and 2005, spending 765 weeks in the top 75 singles and albums charts. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History 1994 31 Supersonic -1- 1994 11 Shakemaker -2- 1994 10 Live Forever -3- 1994 07 Cigarettes & Alcohol -4- 1994 03 Whatever -NAS- 1995 01 Some Might Say -1- 1995 02 Roll With It -2- 1995 02 Wonderwall -3- MILLION SELLER 1996 01 Don't Look Back In Anger -4- MILLION SELLER 1997 01 D'You Know What I Mean? -1- 1997 02 Stand By Me -2- 1998 01 All Around The World -3- 2000 01 Go Let It Out -1- 2000 04 Who Feels Love? -2- 2000 04 Sunday Morning Call -3- 2002 01 The Hindu Times -1- 2002 02 Stop Crying Your Heart Out -2- 2002 02 Little By Little / She Is Love -3- 2003 03 Songbird -4- 2005 01 Lyla -1- 2005 01 The Importance Of Being Idle -2- 2005 02 Let There Be Love -3- 2007 10 Lord Don't Slow Me Down -NAS- 2008 03 The Shock Of The Lightning -1- 2008 12 I'm Outta Time -2- 2009 10 Falling Down -3- 2015 56 Half The World Away -B-SIDE- 8 x #1 | 19 x Top 5 | 23 x Top 10 | 25 x Top 20 | 26 x Top 40 | 27 x Top 100 Social Media Oasis http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 77 Ed Sheeran Perfect 4th single from ÷ Released: 3rd March 2017 Label: Asylum Records UK Chart Statistics NE (15/03/2017) | [4-5-7-12-16-23-25-29-32-31-37-43-52-59-59-64-50-x RE (21/09/2017) | 77-79-34-19-13-11-7-6-6-6-4-3-1-1-1-1-1-1-3-7-18-19-22-24-25-25-23-26-28-31-33-38-48-43-42-48-51-44-46-53-53-58-58-61-58-59-57-60-61-61-57-55-62-59-53-56-61-59-66-69-71-75-74-75-97-88-96-x RE (10/01/2019) | 40-56-61-69-75-76-65-73-79-80-81-80-75-75-78-86-71-87-82-82-92-83-91-89-93-96-x RE (06/02/2020) | 56-52-49-36-49-46-50-50-51-48-50-43-48-46-47-41-44-43-46-41-40-37-35-42-43-44-45-47-49-48-48-49-94-95-90-91-99-88-91-87-97-94-100-x RE (14/01/2021) | 66-74-75-76-70-66-57-69-79-77-81-84-88-88-100-x RE (06/05/2021) | 91-93-91-98-x RE (10/06/2021) | 82-89-100-96-83-81-82-84-86-88-83-76-70-71-76-x] RE (23/02/2023) | 98-x RE (16/03/2023) | 97-95-100-x Sales: 4,700k+ Certification: 7x Platinum 01 Sales 01 Audio Streaming 01 Video Streaming Video 2Vv-BfVoq4g Biography There’s a lovely moment a little ways into Apple Music’s Songwriter documentary about Ed Sheeran in which Sheeran, jet-lagged and carrying a cup of tea, straggles out into a yard in Malibu at dawn, sits down at his laptop and begins writing a song about the moment right in front of him: the crisp air, the birdsong, the hot tea, the day ahead. He gets a full verse in, melody and all, then pauses. “Songs are weird things,” he says. “How so?” an interviewer asks. “They just come and go,” Sheeran says, smiling. “And they never give you any warning.” For Sheeran, they seem to come pretty reliably. Born in 1991 in Halifax, England, he started out gigging on the UK pub circuit before releasing his first studio album, +, in 2011, and has since become one of the most unstoppable singer-songwriters in music, forging a light blend of folk, pop, hip-hop and dance that feels slick but lived-in, intimate but universal. Whether on his own (“Sing”, “The A Team”, “Shape of You”, “Perfect”) or in collaboration with artists from Taylor Swift to Eminem to Justin Bieber, Sheeran has a unique ability to strike a chord that feels both bittersweet and redemptive, good-natured and genuine: the hopeless romantic who convinces you he might just be right. In 2017, he was made a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, touching Prince Charles on the arm while shaking his hand—a breach of royal protocol, and an appealingly human one at that. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2011 03 The A Team -1- MILLION SELLER 2011 35 Hush Little Baby (Wretch 32 feat.
