'Do I Wanna Know?'

If they were only going to play one Arctic Monkeys song this is one of their best

Edited December 29, 20232 yr by jimwatts

I didn't hear a single Christmas hit when out shopping so just small doses of them today, with this show. 'Fairytale Of New York' is one I haven't got bored of!

'Do I Wanna Know?'  not fresh in the slightest lol but still absolutely love it, one of my favourite hit singles of 2013

So used to hearing this more often when on the phone to Santander lol. Good track but never been a big fan!

Ironically, Fairytale of New York was also #73 on the 2005 YE

I actually slightly prefer both 505 and I Wanna Be Yours to Do I Wanna Know? at the moment but they’re all brilliant.

No, Christmas ends after Boxing Day.

12 days Christmas

also curse 'Another Love' blocking this from the Top 10 when it returned anyway at the start of this year :kink:

12 days Christmas

That's a song though.

That would have been such a beautiful chart moment if Another Love had made #10 this year having previously peaked at #11 with DIWK having made #10 in 2013, and all would be well with the world! :(

I forgot this was likely to be here! Lovely song which I charted early in the year.

Oh I HATE Golden Hour, had no idea this was anywhere near big enough to make the Year-End ew

That's a song though.

Why is Epiphany on January 6?

Even before 354, the Western Church had separated the celebration of the Nativity of Christ as the feast of Christmas and set its date as December 25; it reserved January 6 as a commemoration of the manifestation of Christ, especially to the Magi, but also at his baptism and at the wedding feast of Cana.

Yay for golden hour making it in! Shame it couldn't quite make it any higher in the weekly chart but at least it got a top 20 peak.

For some reason I've never been able to get into the verses of this but the chorus is quite lovely, enjoyed its use on Strictly this year.

Golden Hour is beautiful - should have been even bigger.

Not a fan of his vocals but love the piano in the background!
