for what it's worth '2 On' is Gold certified, so I'd count that as a proper hit of her own even if it didn't make the official chart

although that was released a decade ago so very much overdue a second hit as a lead performer

We've had this discussion like 50 times but not all fans of Taylor are happy with all those "one song at a time so that we can sell the album 30 times to people" strategy. It's not hate to point that out. I would think EVERYONE would rather have a one proper live/acoustic version of the album.

 

Good streams for Charli! Should do better than Crash in that sense.

Going back to the Taylor thing, you realise it’s not another variant right? So it’s not “one more track added”… it’s a “purchase the album on any format to be in with a chance to get guaranteed access to tickets to her London show.” And the “No Purchase Necessary. click here to enter.” Is probably the most clear I have ever seen that link utilised.

Amazing numbers for "BIRDS OF A FEATHER". I really hope it might be able to challenge for #1 in the future, but looks like it may get stuck behind Eminem. Hopefully they will release a music video for the song to give it a boost in the coming weeks!

She’s over here in the UK on tour rn, so it makes sense for her to do either a promo blitz or capitalise on the hype of her being over here) but also, I wouldn’t be surprised if Taylor is number 1 on the hype of the tour alone. Her back catalogue received major boost since the ERAs tour started and Tik Tok videos of it started going viral etc.. and she wasn’t even over here. I’m not sure she will be mid week number 1, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she is.

I wonder how high she will go. She has 3 says in Wembley on the 21-23, so think that's when we'll see the peak of the eras tour boost.

 

Although she will get another large boost in August as she'll be doing a further 5 days at Wembley on the 15-20/8.

 

We may see her have 3+ albums in the top 10 in the charts at some point. Do we know what the record is for most albums top 10 in the same week?

"Please Please Please" is huge already on TokTok, I don't think it'll get to "Espresso" levels but I reckon Top 5/3 and a big hit.

 

It's continuing to climb on Apple Music as well.

RAYE's decision to release this song in 3 parts as well as a full song is an odd one from a chart perspective - I have to assume she'll probably get at least the streams of 'pt. ii' to be combined with the full song?
