January 6, 20251 yr Yeah I know there was a very pretty Blood Records pressing of Diamonds that has been released on vinyl, not sure if any other factors
January 6, 20251 yr From the OCC article: "Originally released in 2017, the LP could finally reach the top spot thanks to the release of a super deluxe edition Blu-ray and a limited Bad World diamond-effect LP. It has so far reached a peak of Number 2."
January 6, 20251 yr Hopefully Selena will go back to Number 1. Anything beats Elton John. Really don't understand how it streams so well to be consistently in the Top 20 his music's not that good. Edited January 6, 20251 yr by gavindeejay
January 6, 20251 yr Happy for “Diamonds” to get its moment really, especially as it isn’t blocking anything new. Then perhaps “The Highlights” can have its turn. ;)

January 6, 20251 yr I'd probably bet on Sabrina catching up if the gap is only 1.1k. Yeah thats nothing when she's usually at 4-5k right now and putting 7-8k as the week goes on.
January 6, 20251 yr Why Lil Baby's album isn't appearing in the mids at all? Surely it should be top 100...
January 6, 20251 yr Is Jimin as high as #26 on ACR? I’m also assuming Greenlight has been reset already for some reason for it to even show up at all today
January 6, 20251 yr Elton would have a 52 year span of #1 albums if Diamonds makes the top (1973-2025) - anyone else managed over half a century? These are the ones I can think of: 60 Elvis Presley (1956-2016) 59 The Rolling Stones (1964-2023) 56 The Beatles (1963-2019) 56 Bob Dylan (1964-2020) 53 Tom Jones (1968-2021) 53 Rod Stewart (1971-2024)
January 6, 20251 yr Keep seeing ads for the £5.99 Elton cassette too - https://store.eltonjohn.com/products/diamonds-cassette Actually hope he can keep the top spot after so many weeks in the charts, they’ve also reduced the iTunes version to )4.99 - at this point they should just throw all they have at it.
January 6, 20251 yr Also a new CD for Elton John - Diamonds. Covering all bases! - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Diamonds-Limited-A...n/dp/B0DPRJXC3Y ~ I really want APT. to have a moment at #1! That's So True on course for a 7th week at the top [and it would be its 10th if not for Christmas getting in the way ] - I quite like the song but I don't think it's that special! :drama: So far it's peaked at #6 in the US.
