It's back our annual Buzzjack Grand National Sweepstake

As some people may know on Saturday 5th April it is the Randox Health Grand National at Aintree.

Would anyone be interested in taking part in a possible sweepstake where you get a horse chosen at random?

Irish National winner for the 'Double Green' team and after a couple of spins over hurdles, showed he’s a big player on Saturday when chasing home Nick Rockett in the Bobbyjo. That was an insufficient test of stamina for the grey. The Nash won’t be, but will the ground be testing enough for him?

Produced a mighty effort to finish third behind I Am Maximus last season and is a pound lower this time around. Punchestown return suggested he can still operate at that sort of level, so you don’t want to be reaching for the red marker pen just yet for all he is now 12 and in the veteran stage.

Owner Stewart Andrew clearly thinks he's a rocket - he eyed Cheltenham Gold Cup, but trainer preferred to go for the National. Would be an emotional winner as Andrew's wife Sadie died in December 2022, five days after watching Nick Rockett in his first race. A winner of the Thyestes Chase at Gowran Park in January then the Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse, where Intense Raffles was runner-up, but that rival better off at the weights here. Jockey rides for his dad.
