Lindsey Buckingham: 4 singles in the midweek top 100 and 3 albums in the midweek top 25! That guy’s a legend.

First time I’ve ever heard Buckingham/Nicks and it’s a great album! And great to see a 52 year old album finally charting, and with very healthy sales.

Good start for Lola! Hope she can hold onto a top 5 placement, but top 10 should be on lock.

Probably got it mixed up with autumn variations chart run then thought it fell to 8 in second week 🙈

Can see it rebounding a couple of places on friday but knew there was no way he was staying at number 1 the charts are too busy

Great to see Biffy Clyro on track for another #1 album - their last album in 2021 only got to #4 with 16.2k first week sales so this one has already comfortably outdone that! (The last album was released quite soon after the previous one and marketed as a 'sister album' which does tend to produce diminishing returns so the bounce back isn't too unexpected but still good to see. Looks like it should beat the 26.2k opening of their 2020 album as well).

Quite good sales for Lola Young's album there as well. Massive step up from the last album not even going top 100 on initial release although I think I recall that it didn't have a physical release until the week it did eventually chart earlier this year?
