Dave indeed just ahead of the Monday midweek number for his last album but barring a big push for more physical sales I'm assuming it'll fall behind the pace by Wednesday.

Bon Jovi quite far ahead of Lily at the moment but if her streaming keeps growing throughout the week...

  • No joke, there's a cattery near me called Pussy Palace.

  • Honestly shocked Lily is doing so well, I was expecting no single entries and maybe the album to go top 30 at most with no physical. I didn’t realise there was so much hype for her, No Shame seemed to

Really decent sales from Lily, I never liked much of her older stuff bar a few songs from the second album but West End Girl is brilliant. Great to see some British acts smashing it this week!

Really enjoyed hearing Lily’s album in its entirety earlier today. Her ex sounds ‘delightful’.

She deserves the strong streaming numbers. Not sure if it’s an album I’ll listen to often but it’s one that benefits from entire listens in the given track order. Pussy Palace though is the most commercial and my fave so far.

My favourite song from Skye so far - hope it will end up in the top 20. Not keen on the new songs from Dave and Lily. Don't get the hype of P Palace - I find it really boring like the whole album.

MiN so high on acr 🙌

Def the years most unluckiest big hit in terms of missing the top spot considering her streams have been high for so long!

It got a week at #1 when the album came out

Yes, but her consistently high streams for the past 2 months would have equated to 7-8 weeks just a few months ago!

So its not like cardi b wet and gushy, so not a gushy palace

That was so funny because every second word was censored and the replacements like “wet and gushy” are far more perverse and dirty sounding than the actual wap.

Amazing for Lily! I'm hoping that means there'll be a "proper" more commercial banger-heavy album of new music at some point!

That's a great initial showing for Henry Moodie too, wasn't sure what to expect from it but hopefully it will end up between 20-30 on Friday.

What does that even mean these days tbh? This album feels like a lightning in a bottle moment for her, I’m not sure where she’ll go next but there aren’t really obvious trends to hop on nowadays

This album is about as "proper" as they come though? Not sure what you mean by proper in this context unsure

So happy it is smashing! Top 5 and 3 hits top 40? Amazing wub

Maybe "proper" was the wrong word for me to use. I don't mean it as any shade towards Lily's album, I think it's a great comeback and I'm really pleased it's doing so well. All I meant was that it's more of a concept album, so I'm hoping that next year she'll release something more akin to her first two albums with some big pop numbers on it (and of course her usual witty lyricism which is more than evident on this album too!)

Could this debut in the Top 10 for Lily with Pu$$y Palace?

I don't think so unless there's a big pure sales push later down the week.

It's my birthday chart on Friday. I'm interested in seeing which is the #31 song for me.

UMG have confirmed that Demi's UK store physicals will not be shipped until next week, so she might even go lower than #72 for her debut week.
