Pretty dull update all things considered but as expected, most of Olivia’s songs have climbed a little bit, as have Sombr’s, Aperture and Nightingale Lane

Welp, if only ROSALÍA could have been invited to perform when the BRITs were more relevant x

'Ordinary' has actually fallen 2 places.

Gosh! A very muted response to the Brits.

Ordinary performed yet it has dropped!

Tbh im not too surprised the performances mostly wernt much to talk about, didnt even have sabrina in her usual get up to cause outrage

The chart impact from the Brit’s seems to have been grim for years - years ago when artists swept the board they would race up the album charts etc., now they seem to be lucky to climb a few places.

Thought Rosalia would have had a boost considering it was the best and to me most talked about performance plus it would have came from a lower point to the established hits.

Do songs not normally react as the clips are added to social media in the days ahead?

That's crazy, I was so certain that performance would have given her a huge boost!

Because people are too busy streaming 'Fever Dream' 😎

I was surprised by the discourse on here these last few weeks about possible BRITs major effects a la Someone Like You, because viewing figures are way down on 2011, and the show always feels so safe and bland these days compared to its heyday.

There were some good performances, ROSALÍA being one, but it wasn't a memorable event overall, and doesn't have the global reach of other events, so doesn't get shared that much on TikTok etc for post-show traction, there was nothing much to keep tongues wagging. They need to revamp it, taking it to Manchester was a start, but imo they need a fresh presenter with new jokes, some more diverting performers, and maybe start being a bit less predictable with some of the nominees and winners too.

I absolutely love Olivia Dean, and her singles are so stellar, but that album was definitely not the best album released in 2025, it was just the British album with the biggest commercial impact (which seems to be what this category measures half the time). All of her other awards were very well deserved but I feel that one should have gone to Lily or Dave.

Not surprised at the minimal BRITs impact, because America doesn't care and posts about the ceremony aren't going mega viral the BRITs no longer have the same cultural importance as before...

Tbf Olivia was already on top you cant really go any higher

So nothing is getting reset then

'Valerie' might... too early to say on one or two others, but definitely not 'Ordinary' or 'Man I Need' as had been much discussed on here.

Great to see 'Steady' enter the top 200!

(Yet another new peak for Olivia: 'Ok Love You Bye' at #21)

Looking for Dying For You is fizzling out, was hoping it would be another single for Charli.

Yeah, I personally think it needs to go back to the BBC. Since it’s been on ITV it’s become progressively less relevant, they need to bring some prestige and star power back to it. Most of the guests in the crowd were reality TV celebs and influencers.

Also the constant long ad breaks are absolutely draining and kill the flow of the show.
