March 9Mar 9 Confirmed something unexpected maybe while drinking in a bar with my friend, hopefully I won't regret any decisions I made here xo
March 9Mar 9 "From the 80s with New Order, to the 90s with Fatboy Slim and The Chemical Brothers, to the 00s with LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk and early Calvin Harris, to even now with Fcukers and The Dare, there is a wide variety to choose from (plus even more with the guitar element thrown in too!). This is a side to dance music that hopefully everyone can find their own in considering its wide genre and decade spanning existence."_________________________________________________________________Even in the late 70s with some of the electronic new wave too like BA Robertson - Bang Bang. And in 1982 there's a lot of stuff as we have seen in the recent threads on the 20th Century Forum on here. Its a wide long running genre and I will struggle to pick the best song to send but I will. March 10Mar 10 Kinda considering changing my entry maybe, but I'm not sure what I'd go for at all 😆 I do really like the song I confirmed, I'm just not entirely sure about it for a specific reason
March 11Mar 11 I changed my entry. The below was my drunken confirmation which I love, but Alanis is too much of a well-known artist lmao so I felt weird about it
March 11Mar 11 You potentially avoided another veto in CB. 😆(Assuming the entries haven't been checked yet)
March 11Mar 11 Absolute banger though. Who knew Alanis has more songs than 'You Oughta Know', 'Ironic', 'Uninvited', 'Thank U' and 'Hands Clean'! And one where she doesn't sound angry and/or screechy but in fact very elegant and calm - even while singing about having fun, partying and giggling again for no reason!

March 11Mar 11 Just now, TheSnake said:You didn't mention 'Head Over Feet' her best and most unique song in terms of melody. There's no way 'Head Over Feet' is her most unique song, in terms of melody or otherwise.
March 12Mar 12 I told myself I would stop entering into more song contests... I could not resist the theme. There is one album I have been listening to recently that is so heinous but also so perfect for this I expect it will get the least points but be the most on theme x
March 15Mar 15 gonna send a song from one of my favorite albums when I was 14/15, just have to decide which song. im guessing a fair few (or a lot) of you will probably know at least one song from this album, especially as we’re on a british forum and most of us are over the age of 25. that’s all i’ll say x
March 15Mar 15 Have confirmed but will not be shocked if someone has followed the same thought process as me and found the same artist x
