Taylor has 12 official albums (16 if you count rerecordings) its not a massive amount more than Rihannas 8 albums you could even argue Rihanna was at 8 long before Taylor got there "so had a head start" 🤭 rihannas catalogue is nowhere near as limited as your making out

Still pretty impressive she is 16th though

In my opinion you are both right and that’s ok.

Whilst Rihanna’s discography is far from limited when you compare what she’s released in the streaming era to Taylor then I can see why some may think that.

Taylor is releasing albums/music every 12-24 months and it’s been 10 years since we last got a Rihanna album.

I can see where you’re both coming from though.

Fun fact: Jane McDonald's cover of "APT." had so many streams in its first day, that they had to hide it on the Sunday first look. It's at: 0 Jane McDonald - APT.

Looks like even Ariana can't #reinreinmeinin then - but we're thankful to Taylor for coming to save us next week! Agree with the comments that her soundtrack singles have been hit and miss (though 'Carolina' deserved to smash way more than some of her actual singles) but it looks like they're throwing everything at it so there's no way she's gonna miss #1 (as long as the song's not terrible).

Let's not jinx her lol.

I think she's immune to jinxes lol.

The only thing that's making me doubt it is that it's country, but she's going hard with physicals which her stanbase is gonna lap up so I can't see how it can miss really.

Lol.

Rihanna was the real hitmaker. Her songs keep crossing generations and gaining streams year after year without her having to lift a finger. She’s currently the female artist with the most monthly listeners on Spotify while others drop projects every six months and still can’t hold a candle to her. No 15 remixes, no endless variants, no desperate chart tricks. Just timeless hits.

To be fair, some of her songs DO have loads of remixes. There's like 14 versions of Only Girl, around 10 of We Found Love, Diamonds, Work, etc.

Can't tell if that's sarcasm or not lol but I really enjoyed Friend Of Mine!

I actually wasn’t! I really liked Friend Of Mine but it seems to have been completely forgotten

In the US it was sold out in 2 hours and there was 20 minutes line to buy them, in the UK it's not the case...

And also, let's face it, I'm sure it's pop-country and we can see how other country artists doing these days, they are all smashing basically, so I hope you're right but you can never be 100% sure.

I believe and hope there are vinyls for the second part of the week to ensure the number 1 :)

That would be awesome if we could bring back the quick turnovers of number 1 without RMI even being on ACR

Ariana has put out another vinyl and a new version download to buy.

Where can this be found sorry? I thought Ariana already had two vinyl variants? That's all I can see on her U.K. store

Only 3 physical formats count toward the singles chart.

The only way around it is to have the CDs count in one week and then ‘discontinue’ them and release vinyl the following week.

I wasn't aware of that, I still think she'll do it for the US though.

Olivia was in the live lounge today… last time she was in there she covered stick season and that gave it a big push to become a bit on its own. Today she covered when a good man cries by queen CMAT. I neeeeeeed this to have the same impact I’ve literally never wanted anything more in the charts 😭

I need to start listening to more 2026 music as I've listened to a lot of 2010s music recently thanks to my algorithm on Spotify anyone got any suggestions my favourite genres are soul, rnb and house

Jessie Ware's newest album Superbloom is great. Also Bruno Mars' The Romantic.

Hoping Ariana will get the #1 this week. Would be great if we got an Ariana-Taylor-Olivia Rodrigo run at #1 the next few weeks.

Well ariana not going down without a fight released an instrumental and accapella versions (not sure how a solo singer is supposed to do accapella though)
