Is there any actual evidence that 'Rein Me In' is suddenly a football song now or are people just guessing it will be?

(I can't really picture how it would work as a chant, nevermind the song having nothing at all even remotely to do with football although I know that hasn't stopped 'Sweet Caroline' et al.)

From what I've seen it's kind of like "Wonderwall" in a way that the kind of people you'd imagine being into football get piss drunk and sing along to it, that's probably the rationale behind people calling it a football song

I feel like it's a song that'd be awkward to sing along to even without being drunk (it's very wordy and syllable-heavy) so I really don't get it but hey ho

I’ve just spotted that Fleetwood Mac ‘Everywhere’ is in the Apple top 200 twice. I had wondered how it does do well considering it is so low in the Apple charts.

And ‘Little Lies’ appears to be the highest re-entry there – I wonder why it has climbed so much in the past 24 hours? Possibly Just a change to their playlists.

Absolutely love 'Little Lies'! I wouldn't mind seeing that make a return at all.

I assumed the backing track was being used in highlights coverage or whatever? Idk though as I don't watch it.

Spotify has updated and Olivia still has the top 2 with ‘stupid song’ holding at #1 with 531k. The whole album is still top 22 so a really good hold

Looks like 'drop dead' will remain in Olivia's top 3 tracks come Friday - could be an interesting tussle for #1 out of her top 2.
