Released in April 2011 as the 2nd single from Gaga's 2nd studio album Born This Way and in spite of a polarizing impact on several religious groups, the song was generally well received by critics. The song had a strong sales opening, but was less successful than her previous singles at the time, but still managed to reach top 10 peaks in 21 countries worldwide. I think Buzzjack has had a love/hate relationship with this song over the years, especially when it comes to these polls, in the first 2 it ranked in the top 10 and only ranked 17th in the last poll, and has finished in 11th place on this one. This song has really grown on me over the years with its heavy techno dubstep elements, pulsating driving beats, catchy hooks and explosive chorus which makes this a true standout in Gaga's discography.19 Votes were cast in the last round. 'Born This Way' finished with the 2nd highest amount of votes with 5, 'The Edge of Glory' managed 3 votes. 'Telephone' managed 2 votes.
